I think the Electric era is when the fandom burned itself out the most for trending hashtags every month. The song dying in less than a week after waiting five months for it didn't help.

less tracks mean more cohesive, imo.  Smile is great.  This "cohesive" word gets tossed around so much on this site.  Great albums don't have to be cohesive in order to be considered great.  The two things are not mutually exclusive.
