Calypso Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Love the idea of Act-iii being called Stargirl. I struggle to believe the 14th Jan announcement is for a tour. Here is my reasoning (and ofc I can be wrong and B is unpredictable). - Yvette went out of her way to say NO to tour rumours. - Why would she announce the announcement for a tour. Especially since the halftime was a bigger spotlight and she still doesn't need to give out dates yet - just announce tour. - Live nation RT'ing etc. for me works AGAINST the idea of a tour. Not only do they regularly post Bey stuff - it was a Beyoncé tweet right after performance. More importantly, even if AFTER Yvette squashing rumour AND her wanting to announce the announcement (less logic but wanting to keep it a big surprise) was the case, then Live Nation would NOT be allowed to tweet about it. They would have strict instructions to keep it a surprise. Just my tres cents 3
Calypso Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Loved the performance. In many ways it had so many aspects of her past big live events - especially beychella. Outside this, there are things I would like to discuss - but it is too soon and for now I just want to enjoy and bask in the glory we witnessed!!!
Calypso Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago On the topic of theories and s**t, why are we all ignoring the BANG? She ended the performance floating in the air with a giant banner that said BANG (the same one teased before with a gun), and that cannot be a random creative choice. Firstly, that shot was so incredible!!! The lights behind her and the band was stuff of cinema. And I refuse to believe it doesn't hold far greater significance. I wonder what it means and is hinting at. 1
bijonse Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago (edited) The performance was sickennnniiiiinnnngggggggggggg. She had so much fun up there it's infectious. The whole thing felt tried and true but like in the best way she was totally in her element doing this genre that's out of her expected range. Ahhh my ****** fave Edited 17 hours ago by bijonse 2
Lose My Breath Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Why are people talking about Spotify when her performance wasn't until Wednesday evening, and today would be the numbers that would be affected by her performance? 2

BnPac Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I love all those speculations. It's fun imo. As long as no one is disappointed for projecting something unto her. I am OK with it. 7
BnPac Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago My top 6 for the album has been : YA YA Daughter TYRANT American Requiem Hands II Heaven Sweet Honey Bucking And I have a performance of 2 of my favorite songs plus Levii's which I also like. Bucking is my fave moment of the show. I don't really want the album to be abandoned. I don't really see a scenario where I'll get a Daughter and H2H's performances if she tours for two or three albums. Although you never know with her. 1

Just my tres cents I hear you, but I think the Yvette thing was more about denying that a tour announcement was happening right after Halftime. She never outrightly denied that a tour was happening. IMO, I think it's very plausible that Jan 14th is a tour announcement and possibly something more. CC tour? Act III album + tour? Tour + visuals? I don't think we should discount Live Nation rt'ing. Yes, they do share non-tour stuff, but often it's simply as a precursor to a live something. Bey is totally unpredictable, but looking at the crumbs we have, I think it's fairly certain a live something is incoming.

Burn Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago (edited) Oh wow all the new pics on her website. Interesting that in this pic it says Beyang instead of Bang I wonder if she wanted it to say Beyang in the performance but the NFL said no bc people wouldn't get it, and she's adding it back in in post production.. dnboy1 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Pretty sure her saying "tres" during Yaya was a reference to 3rd Ward in Houston lol. Hence the hand sign she did along with it. I do see another tour that'll accompany All 3 acts. I can definitely see Act III dropping a couple days before the tour just like with FWT.

Cbreezy Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago We finally have Bey's new creative / choreo team details! I asked a few pages back and now we know as the dancers are starting to share ish. Amari posted this: https://www.instagram.com/p/DEDvd4BhS3f/ So, as seemed to be the case, it looks like Fatima and her hub of choreographers have been swapped out for fresh blood. For context, Fatima's crew did the RWT, Oscars etc. It's now, Charm La'Donna and Tyrik Patterson: https://www.instagram.com/charmladonna https://www.instagram.com/tyrikjpatterson Chris Grant is also in the mix and seems to be Bey's consistent throughline as she swaps out the creatives around her. Seeing all the tagged dancers specifically thanking Chris, Charm, and Tyrik. So, they seem to be the new trio. Parris Goebel did the iconic Buckin section. I love what this new regime did for Halftime, so I'd be ok if they are on this tour that's coming (which I'm fairly certain they are). I literally stan Fatima and loved alot of the RWT when it really got into swing, but as Choreo Hive, I did notice for the early part of the tour, both the dancers and the dancing was a little...rough around the edges. Something I am not used to from a Bey production from previous regimes. Maybe unfair to Fatima, but I also didn't like that she seemed to be leading the charge (at least in terms of what we saw in the film) with the whole "'Bey doesn't have to dance as much, she can transform into a new type of performer" thing. It's inevitable but I don't wanna hear all that right neow lol. I want Buckin and not her walking up and down (BMS) or literally vibing (Cuff It) during her most uptempo new music. No maam. For all we know, the Fatima clan may be at home working on the tour right now lol, but I'd be highly surprised if Bey roped in a new team for something on the scale of Halftime and didn't use the same crew for a similar scale production months later (tour). It's not something we talk about often on here, but I really am fascinated by how much latter-day Bey rotates out the people working for/with her. She gives true creative in the sense of probably wanting all her ish to stand apart, give fresh people opportunities, and probably a boss move of never letting anyone person or team ever get too comfortable in position. 4 2
