Opening up for Taylor on the Eras Tour was such a good idea, her team gained major strategies.   This era has been so iconic, the single choices have really given the 1-2-3 punch.   From Espresso (which should've peaked #1), PPP and now Taste.   Great single choices!! The #1 album position is now secured.   Guys let's get Taste to DEBUT #1 ON HOT 100 IMAGINE SABRINA DEBUTING #1 ALBUM AND A 3RD SINGLE DEBUTING #1!

I've been saying this :clap3: Beyoncé Carpenter we never doubted you

I was just gonna say Beyoncé is the absolute BEST when it comes to choosing singles :clap3:

If she redeems herself with the final rollout I'll bite the bullet but if act iii comes and goes the same way I'm good

you make it sound like there's a slight possibility it won't come and go

Beyoncé Experience to me is still Beyoncé (or Sasha) in the works, she was still working on her performance skills. Thru my stan lens she was already a brilliant performer but watching in retrospect it's evident how much she evolved over the years. One thing that kinda puts me off about that tour and her overall style at that time is the over the top-ness, from wardrobe choices to some loosy movements/choreo. I can see that she probably had to "contain" herself more in this way to deliver a more polished performances and the peak of that would be the Coachella, hands down. Besides that triumphant band in the back she didn't need much to do an amazing show, it was all so simple and yet breathtaking.

Never thought I would skew negative nancy, but this nothingness of CC "era" is so...ewww lol.

I'm not nor have I been holistically "doom and gloom" about ish because Bey still tick-boxes the things "I" want/need as Chart Hive. Even with CC. Like, #1 album, big opening week sales, chart-topping and top 10 singles etc. Plus, it was actually a fantastic body of work.

But, as a bit of a branding/marketing geek, I'm particularly annoyed because it now makes so much of the CC launch and "era" feel like a bit of a waste.

She will spin it as having birthed a Black Country renaissance (with Shaboozey, Tanner etc), but it doesn't feel like "she" has benefitted much beyond it being a (at least for now) "a quick lil successful Pop girl transformation before moving onto the next thing".

Almost certain the album is now languishing nearer the bottom of the charts with low/no streams (and definitely not where Rennie was in its lifecycle at this time comparably). None of the songs lasted the distance either.

So, all of the things we are clamoring for e.g. a tour, visuals etc are likely to have next to no effect on reviving the album commercially or culturally. Again, a waste.

At this point, I don't even think it's worth wasting those pillars on an album cycle that has all but wrapped. Use it for Act III.

The slight upside is that Act III will almost certainly arrive alongside the visuals (for everything), thus will benefit most from that as a promotional vehicle. Maybe it will stick more as a result. And who knows, maybe she will again play the game with the features to ensure high charting singles and a certain amount of easy streams.

All that said, it's just annoying because the three-act thing had so much potential. Instead, it's a head-f**ck of highs (great material, great sales, great tour) and lows (almost zero push). The irony being, and this has happened with Bey multiple times, she will pioneer a concept only for her lesser talented peers to perfect it and reap better rewards. Sometimes, it's not "what" you do, it's "how your work it".

Manifesting some kind of something to make us all eat humble pie...soon. Because this ain't it.

I can tell she was kind of vocally fatigued during DIL at one of my shows, no wonder she doesn't do more than 50 dates anymore if she has to sing for 3 hrs. :emofish:

Rennie was my fav tour because it felt like a celebration, but FWT was technically better.

but she lips most of the show tho

she messed up during "I Care" at one of my shows, one of the last ones left after her LA shows. she recovered really quickly after coughing it out and skipping the hook to get it together for the bridge. them vocal cords were TIREDT by the end of the tour.

she was wearing this, btw:

To be honest, if she really wanted it, she could release the visuals for CC during the campaign period, with a big rollout, and it would be her best shot she's had

I just thought about this and I got confused as to what she can submit her album or songs for outside of AOTY and Best Country Album.

I need her to perform it live with them. I was waiting for that during the Super Bowl. Hell even one performance at at either of their shows.

If only. They kinda missed out on not pre taping her doing a video for the screens. she prob wouldn't though.

That's what I thought for REN. I don't think she is winning anything this round. Country ain't giving her anything. Kinda crazy how she is ruining each era by her own doing. I still think people are afraid to tell her some truths. REN could've been bigger and CC could've had a cute era. I don't see the point in releasing a movie years after the album release and the tour being over. :deadbanana2:
