No one is asking for SNL or the View. But the film could've been released digitally, she could have done an acoustic performance of Texas or something. Literally anything beyond IG reels. REN she got a pass cause the album is flaw free. CC is not nearly good enough to leave for dust like this. CC is not good enough? This album has more potential hits than Renaissance could ever dream of. I suspect it will age better too. 3 2 2

At the rate Texas is declining, we'll be lucky to scrape 20 weeks on the charts which is ridiculous for how strong it was the first several weeks. whatever potential hits the album has is irrelevant if her team wont do the bare minimum to help them happen the general consensus in here on the album is that it's a fantastic album! she's just abandoned it like a baby in one of those fire station emergency boxes and that's frustrating to see Edited June 15 by cloudbusting 1

When she tours the album, streams will go up again and if they ever have a visual, some people will hear the songs again with new hear. I still think Beyoncé has a bigger plan to release visuals once all three albums are out. Beyoncé is creating her eras for the long run. Not what's hot for a few months. Renaissance today is more remembered than most of the albums that won awards in 2022. Like she once said, she makes albums and her discography will remain rich and multi dimensional. 1

Most people are jealous people. If Beyonce was attractive but not talented she could be seen as relatable. This. She's one of the most talented, most beautiful, most acclaimed, most awarded and most well-adjusted celebrities to ever exist. She doesn't respond to bullshit and let pressure get the best of her. She has the same friends as she did from 20+ years ago, a 15+ yr marriage to a billionaire…I mean Blue Ivy is more accomplished than many up and coming artists today. THIS is why ppl don't like her or "find her relatable". She's the rich auntie that doesn't come around bc if ppl aren't getting something out of her, their jealousy shows. 1

LegaMyth Posted June 16 Posted June 16 This is how I see Bey's discography. Act I: The Breakout Star -Dangerously In Love -B'Day -I Am... Sasha Fierce Act II: Becoming The Artist -4 -Beyoncé -Lemonade Act III: Doing What She Wants -Renaissance -Cowboy Carter - Act III Act 4: The Finale -Final Studio Album 3 1
Williamprb Posted June 16 Posted June 16 I hope she does music like 4. I fear there will never be another era with visuals, vocals and true realness to her fans as it 3

You think she should or would stop her recording career two albums from now? She obviously loves music and making albums. 1
Doctor Dick Posted June 16 Posted June 16 CC is a country album with only one single. Post-album singles are hard to get for pure pop albums, let alone albums like CC. She should just take a lil' break and come back with ACT III or do a tour for CC and then comeback with ACT III. At least CC produced her biggest hit outside of the US since Telephone with Gaga. That's a big accomplishment and this era is a success no matter what haters say. 1

What are those hits, if I may ask? I can only see Bodyguard being a big moment a la Cuff It. Everything else is too different and/or slow paced compared to the current musical landscape. Maybe Levii's Jeans for how mundane it is but I also feel like that'd be a slow burner. Renaissance had definitely more hits on it. Besides the two it already got, I'm fairly convinced AS would've been huge if pushed properly to coincide with the album release and then Heated for the summer when it started gaining traction from the tour. Idk about aging better either, the general consensus already seems to be that Renaissance is better. We'll see how the year's end lists fare but honestly it's not looking very promising.

AS charted for just one week less than IIMW while only the latter was actually released as a single (contrary to other posts - it got a unique visualizer, individual single on AM even after the album drop, and a month-late radio push), so you made some points she hamstrings herself to fulfill her little flop indie fantasy and it got old a decade ago

We were fed with performances, documentaries (year of 4 is probably my favorite documentary from her), plenty of videos, quality music, and a FUN ENGAGING ERA for the fans. 3
Mitsouko Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Selling this tour's gonna be a struggle tbh. Like OTRII or worse. 1) she just toured rather expensively 2) mid ass album unlike Renaissance 3) flop ass album unlike Renaissance 4) no "rising-from-the-dead" hype which she had before RWT I wish her 0.25 fl oz of luck. 1
ariesgroove Posted June 16 Posted June 16 this tour announcement hive has been theorizing about feels like a crock of bullsh*t waiting to burst open on the stove but hey!

And then u realize Cuff It and Break My Soul also all died and Rennie is already doing less than 1.5 Mio streams per day (the entire project). I love ur optimism, but no

Beyoncei Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Beyoncé is slowing down. Album + Tour and a possible Grammy appearance is the best we gonna get from ms thang! She's done with being "the female version of a hustler" Other than that, we got to enjoy her insta creativity and an incredible body of work from time to time. I'm less stressed expecting beautiful quality music and nothing else. 1

I mean, we know she had serious issues with her knee and we assume that had an impact on the filming/release of the visuals. As many of you have mentioned, these eras seem rushed/messy, despite being some of her best music artisically. I respect her wish for privacy, and so far, I've just been happy with just enjoying the content as it comes. However, something about this era seems really off, even more so than the REN era. I don't want to hear any conspiracy theories but I do think one of her children, likely Sir, might have something going on: Quote So many roses but none to be picked without thorns So be fond of your flaws, dear ... I just hope you love yourself like that And I really hope the best for you You're my love, my sweetie pie My baby, you're my heart 1

If she's touring places she did not tour with Renaissance as well she'll be fine. The demand is there. But if she insists in the same old USA-Canada-Some of Europe I hope she's flops harder than the This Is Me... Now tour. 2
Lose My Breath Posted June 16 Posted June 16 I'm curious now if they would've pushed renaissance as long as they did had cuff it not materialized, and would we have gotten CC sooner?
