I wanted the ******* version of grown woman

The b word is censored :rip:

guess that’s for the best on a site that hates women though

Another epic concept for the trilogy would be:

Act2 focussing on Rock/Country to reclaim this Black Genre

Act3 focussing on Bey taking on classical pieces and fusing them with RnB/Pop/HipHop elements. Act3 could then be her final magnus opus, her AOTY.

Just imagine her creativity on sampling iconic classic songs such as these:

It would be absolutely legendary beyond anything that has been tried in the realm of Pop. :jonny5:

Since 2015? Like, even during Lemonade era, the streams were lower than that? A wonder how it even got to 3B streams

2 reasons for this:

Lemonade era was over 7 years ago. Daily streams were just much lower overall because Spotify had merely a fraction of its current user base.

Also, Lemonade was not on Spotify, so it probably didn't boost Beyoncé's music on Spotify that much. lol

@AxelFox @swissman don’t bother arguing with the court jesters, let’s just laugh at them and move on :rip:

we’re talking about britney and melanie martinez stans calling Bey "very generic and paint by numbers" like bffr

I've not responded to anyone saying any such thing (at least not today). I'm responding where objective facts can disprove silly claims.

the way they don’t even accept hard facts either, it’s like talking to a wall

it's very much that. And with reactions now it can make a solid point look foolish just because a lot of haters have banded together to dislike something they cannot otherwise disprove.

but thanks for the reminder to not go all out, because I know I have a hard time leaving a debate alone.

but as always I like to offer counterpoints to clear delusion so at least its written there, as when I was a guest it infuriated me to see things said that no one had yet corrected.

Does anyone feel bad that Tony Bennett said he wanted to collab with Beyonce and I think he said that she said she’s open to it but nothing happened afterwards. I wonder why she paid him dust and let him turn to dust. I assume she didn’t want to be seen as copying gaga

I can handle that thread y’all fighting in but the p!nk has more longevity thread pissed me off. Why do they keep saying p!nk has recent hits but Beyoncé doesn’t. Are you ******* serious? P!nks top 5 most popular songs atm on Spotify 4/5 are old **** and only 1 is from her recent album. Beyoncés is always her newest music. THAT is longevitiy

Why do they keep acting like cuff it isn’t a hit?? It’s 4x platinum eligible 700 million streams. It’s a bigger hit than ANY pop girlie 2020 besides Dua Billie and Taylor

4x platinum:jonny: Damn that’s good. I stopped checking her chart stats years ago. Cuff It is and was an undeniable hit for Bey and is one of her signature songs imo. Anyone arguing she hasn’t had a hit recently is completely delusional.

A few considerations about ST:

- Mine is still the best song off the album, wow thank you Drake. And Heated best off Renaissance? I see a pattern.

- I now appreciate XO in a different way since the emotional KB tribute.

Mine is truly such a gem of a song. The production and Beyoncé’s delivery is immaculate. Drake does a lot on the song as well. And I like the idea of the the song starting in the present and going back to the past lyrically it’s very well written and executed. They clearly have great chemistry when it comes to working together.

I wish Bey would work with 40 the producer of Mine. Imagine the magic they could make together in the alt R&B space ughhh. Mine is like a taste but I want the full course.:jonny:

Because of my nostalgic view and since "MINE" was the first song I heard off the album, it's the top of my Top 5. "MINE", "JEALOUS", "SUPERPOWER" and "DRUNK IN LOVE" are constant songs I go back to, frequently.

SONGS:

- MINE

- DRUNK IN LOVE

-JEALOUS

- HAUNTED

- BLOW

- PARTITION

- SUPERPOWER

- BLUE

VISUALS:

- HAUNTED

- SUPERPOWER

- STANDING ON THE SUN COMMERCIAL

- MINE

- BLOW
