With nothing new happening, it's getting weird 🤣. I need someone to risk their job and start talking about Act II or the visuals, or anything. It's going to be boring once the film is out of theaters for good and she disappears, vlogging about what trials she's gone through getting Act II out. I'm sure we'll see the footage late 2025.

 

Despite 90% of the product from this era being of great quality, well thought out and celebratory- this has literally been the worst and confusing era of her career, and I thought the chaotic build up to "BEYONCÉ" and disappearing after the release was dumb. 

 

If the visuals are scrapped, though we don't know when the final decision was made, it's pretty. . .Ignorant to build the aesthetics and momentum around the visuals. From the album booklet/sleeve, to the snippets, to adding so much of the videos to the tours preludes- literally previewing the visuals in the middle of the concert. Also, the "RENAISSANCE Couture" that was never explained or talked about after the European run of the tour. Is it for sale? High end fashion for celebrities? Part of the visuals? But then theres Pop up shops to sell vinyl printed hoodies and sweats? 

 

The KN☕️Y news skits, with the terrible audio, that are direct reference to the secret visual without the visuals being mentioned since October. . .what the f×ck are we doing here. At this point Act II has been scrapped, pushed back, reworked- whatever. 

 

I've seen ppl say that she was relying on the music to be focus of the era. That doesn't make sense since the entire era had been frontloaded with photography and snippets of an actual film. Taking the film to different streamers doesn't make much sense either, not because of the strike though. It would make more to release the film on Netflix (or Paramount) while it's the biggest streamer. Considering they still have the licenses to "HOMECOMING" and haven't forced a basic fad artist to release a NF exclusive concert, they still favor her. 

Her saying they were racing against time to produce this (masterful) film, but have been working on this tour for 4 years does suggest something major happened. I just can not see her releasing videos 2.5 years later thinking it would draw the same amount of attention or acclaim.

Does anyone else think Bey’s rap game intimidates the rap girlies? I remember when onicka tweeted something shady the day before Renaissance came out about how singers don’t need to rap. If the community stopped shaming rappers for not writing maybe they could be more creative with their awful sampling and predictable flow. Bey really is the best female rapper now that Doja fell off but yall aren’t ready for that conversation.

That timing and ability Bey displayed during the intro of Energy (live), during Apeshit, and also during Savage is enough to make me agree with you. Bey is actually a really capable and good rapper

Good idea GTA songs is great promo and the kiddos that grew up on it forever have nostalgia for the music. We need a good Bey song straight men won’t skip. Also something they won’t get tired of hearing. What Reneigh song has the best replay and tolerable for all audiences? Heated?

The tea is that a lot of Beychella is recycled from FWT although you could argue it’s a certainly more fleshed out setlist and concept (the HBCU element). 
 

so personally I didn’t mind when the FWT movie was scrapped because so many elements reappeared in Beychella.

Those are cute but when I’m driving around shooting pedestrians and being chased by the cops Heated just gives the best bad ass energy. I hope Bey gives them license to her music. I wasn’t joking this could be epic for her discography. Hell if I was her I’d pay them to include me in the storyline someway and feature a song.

Isn't Freedom basically confirmed for GTA 6? I remember it and something called Wade in the Water leaking as part of the soundtrack, but I'm pretty sure Wade in the Water is actually just Freedom and someone mixed it up because they heard the lyric "I'm gonna wade through the water" and thought that was the title.

I broke and gave her my coin last night cause I needed to see the film.  

 

I also took two friends with me who are major swifties and they really enjoyed themselves and learned a lot, one of them admitted she thought Bey was overrated and godly before seeing her with the kids and talking about her being a serial people pleaser.

 

The audio is insane!!!! She sounds and looks amazing at every single angle.

 

I think I understand the vision of what she wanted, that BMS video did look cool, but she wanted an organic word out mouth connection through people and however they socialize now. 

 

I plan to watch this again for sure.
