I would be cool if she could release additional vinyls and CDs to coincidence with the tour or anything else she might have in store.

am I delusional for hoping she pushes a single with the film release, like the live version of Cozy or Alien Superstar? :clown:

I'm so happy we're getting the live album, in that way even if she cuts things in the film, we'll have everything flowing there.

How sure are we of this? Can't remember, but were there songs shortened in Homecoming that was full in the live album?

I can't be sure, it's a supposition but there are no dialogs in Homecoming live on Spotify. It's just music, that's what I meant.

No, every song was complete. Drunk In Love had an intermission with Nina Simone’s Lilac Wine that gets cut on the live album; J Balvin appears on the album but not on the film because there was a malfunction.

Hopefully she'll add a new song in that album like she added Before I Let Go on Homecoming

With this being released on a Friday, the live album could actually have a chance at #1.

The more I think of it, I just cannot see the visuals properly being in "this" film.

There's just no neat way of incorporating it with the tour and doc. I imagine we'll get word on what's going on, teases of video shoots, maybe even an end credits preview.

Call me delulu, but I can see her dropping the visuals on a streamer somewhere between Q1 and Q2 2024 (probably as a package deal with the doc film).

I also have a theory on the visuals too.

**IF** there's more music coming, I could really see the visual being a combined film for both Rennie and the next album. That'd be new terrain for Bey and easily would allow for the following:

Act 1: Rennie

Act 2: New Project

Act 3: Visual Film (Echoville?)

Looking at Rennie as a "product" (which in essence it is), I can't see a conceivable nor logical scenario that justifies the visual for an album that came out in 2022 coming in 2024. Like it's literally pointless from a commercial perspective. It also stacks the expectations taller than it could ever deliver on.

But a joint visual gives value anew to the any kind of Rennie visual and would give reason for the TWO YEAR delay.

Off-record: it'll also probably give her whatever time needed to complete the rumored re-shoots and new shoots for the new music. None of which I imagine was happening on tour.

Tle film will end up on streaming a month later. I wonder if Netflix will end up having it exclusively, bet they are working on it right now.

It won’t, the deal specifies that the movie will be in theatres for at least 4 weekends.

If she does physicals (which are still a strong format for her), then...possibly. If she does vinyl (which I hope they can make happen by Dec 1) then we may really stand a chance.

That said, pretty sure a lot of holiday albums start dominating around that time. So who knows.

Lastly, there's only a finite amount $$$ she can squeeze out of her stans in a condensed frame. Trying to all at once sell theater tickets, a physical live album, and possibly more tour dates is a big ask.

So, I wouldn't be surprised if they took a more cavalier attitude to the Rennie live album and did it Homecoming style. Basically a "nice to have" drop and an eventual vinyl release down the line.

As Chart Hive, I'd live for the Rennie live album sales counting towards the main album. Beyond the boosted overall sales, the merch and packaging options are...delicious!

I feel like any information about the visuals is mixed with rumours about this project. The rewatchability concerns from streamers make sense with the concert film, not so much with the visuals.

Yep. I live live live for the backend aspect of all these deals.

From forecasting etc, I'm sure they know that the tangible number of tickets sold will be less than TS (who has that Middle America, Becky's on lock), but the higher price point will yield big gross.

Does AMC give updates on what the ticket update sales look like? I’m new with keeping up to the whole theatrical release thing.

There’s no way she can have vinyls by December. The reason why there’s barely image of the concert itself on the trailer is because they don’t know which takes are making the final cut yet. Taylor’s task was easier since she only had three concerts to pick stuff from, Bey is using footage from the 56 dates.

I wish the bougie dine-in movie theaters here were showing the film, Bey deserves more than Coke and popcorn :khalyan:

I really think Bey is gonna use the shows we know she recorded as the meat of the film.

She may punch in with optimal clips from earlier dates. But almost all the trailer featured outfits from the recent dates we know were professionally filmed. Something that wouldn't really be the case if they were looking to heavily use anything from earlier.

Reading the press release, I think the earlier shows may be more BTS footage and self-filmed stuff (like her flying on her PJ from city to city).

I say that to say, they "could" in theory have a professional audio recording of an earlier show from months ago as the live album. Best I remember expedited vinyl pressing is like 4 months. So depending on if the above is what they've done, it'd be technically..doable..no?

A very reliable source in Brazil (he's a journalist and he basically confirms every tea regarding international shows in the country) just tweeted and he's keeping his words by saying she'll be touring Brazil next year, it's already 100% confirmed and which cities she'll be touring is kept under secret for now. He just doesn't know when she'll announce.
