yeah that’s another annoying thing she does, since FWT/OTR II she started treating Europe like rehearsals, we always get less energy, less choreo, less new songs and no surprise performers…

 

and she clearly doesn’t try to hide any of it which is just disrespectful atp especially when "always giving 100% everywhere" was part of the Beyoncé brand but oh well.. being organized used to be too

have you seen the trailer for miss neck's tour film? the wristbands highlight the scope, show how many thousands of people are in the audience. its because it looks good on camera.

I don’t get the notion that Europe doesn’t get treated right. Australia nor Brazil have seen her in over 10 years. Didn’t blue ivy debut in Europe? Barcelona was epic,  she added the DJ to the London shows, which celebs flew out too. All of them were amazing , including Paris. 
 

And frankly, energy aside, Stockholm still had one of the best shows. Full show seamlessly. 
 

Some of Taylor’s shows get surprise guests, others don’t. That’s pretty common in concerts.

 

And formation tour began in the US. I don’t recall anything different.

There's always a perfect reason for Beyoncé not doing something in particular that only apparently people with brains here know about.

 

Anyway that reason doesn't cut for my non-brain-having self. The more contents the better. 2 or 3 years between a tour and some live performance is OK. FWT was over in October 2016 and Homecoming came out in 2019.

Roseland 2011, Glastonbury 2011 and MCSWT in 2013. Neither took anything away from one another. 

 

It was not even a complaint on my part tbh.

I don’t see how Beyoncé easily releasing FWT concert which ended in 2016 would coincide with homecoming; released in 2019?  It didn’t need behind the scenes or any added things, just straight up concert. And editing didn’t have to be by her, only approved.

Omg, I just remembered FWT was only 6 months long, April - Oct. And the RWT is shaping up to be the same. It really is the end.

because a lot of elements from FWT were recycled in homecoming, down to the runway. she clearly preferred the homecoming version of her show, so that's the one she chose to put out. same goes for Revel & MCSWT.

I understand it looks good on camera. Know where else it looks good? In person. So why’d she only have them for one city? To mislead non-patrons into thinking that her concert movies are reflective of the actual show they’d get if they pay to see her? Cause that’s she’s doing.

y'all say y'all be watching all her shows but don't realize that for a minute there she was just taking bits and pieces from her shows and using them in other shows. 

 

that Revel show was recycled at the super bowl 2013, the mrs. carter show, and eventually OTR i. when she got coachella, she took FWT, deconstructed it, and then rearranged all the songs for Homecoming, and then eventually OTR ii.

 

that's also part of why RWT is so exciting. it's the first time she's overhauled her arrangements in years.

Sometimes I only want to watch the concert . I love the behind the scenes content in homecoming and story but it does tend to take you out of the performance. 

 

FWT would have been a great contrast. Another artist released a music documentary and concert film within the same year. No one had an issue.

she can afford it. but seeing as she was dealing with technical issues almost every night, she probably didn't want to risk having more things go wrong. her production was MUCH more intricate and complicated than miss neck.

And yet we still got I am Yours and Live in Roseland specials which were the exact same concepts essentially, the story of Beyoncés career with added behind  the scenes clips lol.. That didn’t stop anyone from enjoying them any less.
