Well it's winding down and they've done literally nothing else for the era so j consider those good numbers

Hasn't RENAISSANCE already charted longer than Lemonade? That's a win in my book :clap3:

yeah she’s just gonna let it rot like she let Lemonade rot when all is said and done :monkey:

it’s definitely a win but tbf Lemons was even more sabotaged than Ren so i’m not that surprised it has better longevity

Thankfully RENAISSANCE has hits to sustain some of its longevity.

I'm done expecting Beyoncé and her team to really push her discography and unfortunately I don't see the album charting years down the line like an Anti or CTRL but i can see it lingering on the albums chart for another year. It'll get to 3B eventually.

the way it could’ve had multiple smashes and smaller hits had they just done SOMETHING with the album and the singles… truly sickening

as long as it’s not pulling 400k a day in 4 years

her still pushing Diva down our throats over a decade later but not being bothered to give us a third single she’s really the devil

I just want to know why they refuse to send her songs to radio. I genuinely thought this era would correct that because Columbia had a guy assigned to her to handle radio and he did an amazing job with BMS. I’m sure she fired him (I believe his name was Paul according to HDD) after seeing him do a good job. Never put 2 and 2 together, but this could explain the mysterious radio drops BMS randomly suffered. All the charts pages said they never saw anything like that before :deadbanana4:

They probably just got it to #1 and the radio programmers didn't want to keep it on power rotation anymore after that

wasn’t "radio dropped it" just an excuse from stans bc it was lowkey flopping ? :rip:

and what happened to VG being sent to BBC radio ? they played it once and never again… can’t we just get regular singles with radio at least like i’m talking BARE minimum….

in b4 they start screaming about her being a 42 year old mother of 5 who deserves not sending songs to radio to guard her peace or whatever :tornado:

Yeah this era is genuinely frustrating along with lemonade. The quality is there, the radio singles are there, yet nothing.

I wonder how it will fare in a couple of years.

Hopefully with album debuting outside the Top10 in the US (just like everywhere around the world). Maybe she wakes up then, tho itll be too late.

People are already not buying her visuals cause she simply isn't worth the money she expects, itll be even funnier in the next few years. Truly delusional to the max

The drops were steep and very fast especially for a song that wasn’t plagued with controversy. Im just repeating what those chart pages said. I thought they were removing it to make room for a second single but nothing happened until we started begging them to send Cuff It. Still weird they didn’t release a radio single in 2023 or at least while she’s on tour.

I always said Etta was upset because Beyonce sang her songs better than she did.

Nah it was an unprecedented move to make. As Winston pointed out artists who recently had number ones never pulled their songs and are still enjoying relative success.

The way y’all are talking about Beyoncé like she’s a new artist. Be serious for once. This woman can retire today! She has reached her commercial peak and doesn’t really care enough to maximize on it at this stage of her career. I can’t blame her. She was everywhere in the 2000s. I feel like if y’all experienced her during those years you would not be saying some of the things you are now.

:clap3: say that. Beyonce has already ran and won that race several times.

I don't really understand asking for radio singles. Radio hits really mean nothing at this point.

I would have pushed AHAP when the remix dropped. otherwise, there wasn't anything on the album naturally gaining momentum to send to radio, necessarily. ALIEN was the frontrunner when the album dropped, but they focused on getting BREAK MY SOUL to #1 and keeping it there, as they should.

had she dropped music videos, performances, remixes without doing anything else, that would be weird. but currently it's apparent that she's not interested in chasing hit songs and isn't willing to do anything to promote a single, so I don't see the point in sending a song to radio for a #73 Hot 100 peak. all the songs charted and got their peaks already.

How much does it take to send a song to radio and officially mark it as a single? 🧐

Why do you all talk about Beyoncé like she’s in her 70’s?

People in her group like Shakira who have also been doing this forever are promoting.

This is about longevity, MJ still has influence due to his presence with music.

Like for-real, they don’t want Bey to gain younger fans apparently.

younger fans? she wouldn't gain those even if she uploaded 5 tiktoks per day. :rip: As Adele put it: "If everyone's making music for the TikTok, who's making music for my generation? Who's making the music for my peers?". I'm sure she feels the same way.

it's nothing about her not gaining new fans, it's more so because we have seen her do it so many times and now the music industry is very open with how they keep moving the goal posts to be successful and relevant. she has already played by their rules for so many years. it was a pretty big deal when '4' happened because that was truly the beginning of her departure of following the music formula and taking control of her career.

You can quantify that radio hits= higher album sales, increase in concert ticket sales, etc Especially for major artists like Beyoncé.

Who said anything about TikTok music? Most artists aren’t doing that lol, TikTok is just gravitating to it like cuff it and alien superstar.

If Beyoncé wants to go back to performing in arenas or concert halls, I guess she’s on the right track.
