@Aslan @GreatestLoveofAll @Mike91 @Adele Addict @Ichinaru19 and others,

Now that it's been 2 years since Adele released 30, how would you guys rank all her albums?

And what do you think about 30 now compared to the initial reaction in 2021, what's changed? How is 30 aging for you?

my stan goggles and how the era went made me mess with this ranking alot particularly where 30 sits but now that im in a different mindset i can say:

  1. 21- her best, most emotional in tune album. every song ties back into the story she is both experincing and trying to create. its high are higher overall.
  2. 30- her most personal album really in terms of how in comparison to her last two, she's delving into more niche and closed off topics and the mood of the songs and composition reflects that maturity. it comes at a fault of not being as digestible as her last two which hurts its replay value.
  3. 25- i guess her most "commercial" album if you look at its content and production and her career trajectory. Despite its more radio friendly nature, it houses some of her greatest songs including "When We Were Young"- a song I can write on foreverrrr and never fully get to the core of why its her most essential song tbh.
  4. 19- only down here cause she only has so many albums and the strengths it has are either capitalized in future albums or are singular to it. Its most impressive front is her dazzling, agile voice which seems to be the only album where she sings like this. still a solid debut- probably the among the very best of the late 2000s girls.

As for ranking 30 itself:

  1. To Be Loved
  2. Easy on Me
  3. Wild Wild West (wow how i used to hate this song lmao)
  4. OMG
  5. Strangers by Nature
  6. Hold On
  7. Love Is a Game
  8. My Little Love
  9. I Drink Wine
  10. All Night Parking
  11. Cry Your Heart Out
  12. Cant Be Together
  13. Can I Get It
  14. Woman like Me

that chris stapleton thing wont getting any ranking.

  • Oh, I remember when they did a Mariah special back in 2008 and she appeared on the show as a mentor.   Maybe Adele will be there too.

  • Saw Adele last night, it was f**king magical, she sounded amazing. best concert of my life 🥹🥹

  • Skyfall is up to #56 on the Global Shazam chart, #163 in the US, so there's a plenty of people just now discovering the song.   Set Fire to the Rain seems to be stuck at 1.4M daily streams o

so A apparently revealed she got married at Alan Carrs latest comedy show.

Take it with a grain or salt but ill wait for the marriage certificate until I believe it

I can't believe she did this with Hans Zimmer, but we never got to hear the studio version, just this intro. I know she did it live at the Grammys, but she was so nervous then. I'm sure the song's climax hits different in the studio version.

This sounds so haunting, even more than Skyfall.

There's no info about that. That would be cool, though. Or just put it straight to Netflix.

Yes, in every cinema in Vegas. Tickets will be available soon.

Seriously though, if they're really going to make a movie, I hope it's going to be on Netflix.

yeah either Netflix or cinemas

but the former is better because the cinemas will just have comparisons and the fans of other singers are just trolling fanatics

Netflix only. I love her but it’s just not a show that is deserving of big screen treatment.

The way this studio version is just sitting on some hard drive somewhere collecting dust, makes me sick!
I’m actually surprised it hasn’t been leaked in full yet tbh :suburban:

yeah and Netflix will reintroduce Adele to the streamer Gen Z generation

It's Adele's season :jonny: The way 21 will be charting every winter for 21 years to come, like a Christmas classic :giraffe:

No, that user was just trolling. You can't trust these Twitter accounts. The real position is around #160 again probably.

Gosh i would love this. I know the full version is glorious.

Why is Boy George reigniting that one sided beef with A again?

I like both 30 and 25 a lot. I'm maybe more of a pop fan than some of you guys, so I like how commercial 25 is, lol. But 30 is like sound therapy. My Little Love is devastatingly beautiful. And To Be Loved is like vocal fireworks. Nobody else writes songs like that anymore.

And can I just say about "Oh My God," that it's interesting how Adele's literally talking to God in it when she says "Lord, don't let me let me down." And the whole religious theme is compelling, even in the music video. I've been wondering for a long time that whether she's in faith and maybe she is. She just keeps it lowkey.
