Justified criticism is not using the wrong pronouns intentionally. You knew very well that Sam changed their pronouns since you've been in threads related to Sam and Dancing With a Stranger. It's very hard to miss it. You failed to apologize for it. Not only that but when confronted about your mistake you doubled down.
