I won't be counting Perfect Duet though since that was only the top performing version of the song for a few weeks, which was enough for her to get it credited to her as a #1 hit but not enough for the Perfect Duet to be the one that counted for the song's chart run as a whole (such as on the YE lists). For Mi Gente though it seems like the remix was the top selling version for enough of the chart run that it's the one that counted towards year end lists and the Hot 100 chart run as a whole, and she has 1/8th of the writing credit on it so give me a minute and I'll add it to her total, which increases to 17578 points and a #84 ranking.

In an era where white artists "flipped" black songs and took credit, and major labels looked to give quick advances instead of long-term publishing equity to black artists who *actually* wrote and freestyled their songs, so many overcame those barriers. ~ As for Beyonce, I'm just happy she's here amongst greatness because there's a misconception out there that she doesn't or can't write. If anything, her willingness to share writing duties and include samples has kept her sound fresh and her range of influences more vast than her peers. As her sister Solange said, "Do NOTHING Without Intention". I think it's so cool that her modern works credit the team behind the Wiz, Michael Jackson, the entire NOLA hip-hop diaspora, Maps, Isaac Hayes, Fela Kuti, Boyz II Men, The Lomax Family, Frankie Beverly, Led Zeppelin, etc. She will now be forever connected to those artists and their estates though publishing. There's no beef or bad blood, and @Ash12345 is doing an amazing job.

WTF The actual ownership for the songwriting is 15% for Beyonce, 25% Evan Boggart and 60% Ryan Tedder, but for most songs it's not possible to get those stats so to keep the methodology consistent I'm just dividing the points equally among all credited songwriters.

I think it would be better if you could have a closer look at the 2-3 songs that bring the most points.
