Shallow goes #1 in Slovakia

Featured Replies

After spending the entire week atop the Slovakian iTunes and Spotify charts, we did it kids! "Shallow" is L. Gaga's first Slovakian top ten hit since "The Cure", which peaked at #8 last year. Also, Always Remember Us This Way debuted at #16.

A global legend is (re)born!

Is this the fourth country where Shallow went #1?

Third after Ireland and Switzerland, Greece might join soon!

Oh no, that chart is of zero relevance as it only counts pure sales, I have no idea why the English Wikipedia uses it but the Italian Wikipedia guidelines forbit the use of the Scottish chart because of how inaccurate it is. If we count Scotland we should also count the UK, the US and Canada where it hit #1 in pure sales. :fan:

do we have official chart?

Yes, this is this week's sales and streaming chart: http://www.ifpicr.cz/hitparada/index.php?a=tyden&hitparada=43&tyden=2544&sec=8f30b21b5e59633d38ad5b017d38f413

There are also an albums chart and an airplay chart, all compiled by IFPI CZ/SK so it's 100% official.

It's directly compiled by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry which is responsible for a lot of countries' charts and certifications, it's 100% legit (it's not like Slovakia's singles chart is hard to predict since nobody uses Apple Music there and iTunes sales are low, it's mostly Spotify based).

Ally can tour in Europe with this instant debut success
