prayer Posted February 17, 2017 Share Posted February 17, 2017 (edited) ________________________________________________________ RULES ________________________________________________________ If you would like to play, please comment below and claim the artist(s) you wish to play with along with a label name You must announce each release (single, album, EP, live album, etc) with an official label announcement Minimum of ONE article a week, NO maximum Charting will be based on amount of promo and content of each article, announcement, etc. Creativity and original visuals (artwork, banners, etc) also go towards charting, as well as Popular Genre points based on the popular genres of the week (see list below). Charts will be posted every Friday All articles, posts, and any other additions you have posted in the thread regarding promotion must be PM'd to me (prayer) BY THE THURSDAY BEFORE FRIDAY OF THAT WEEK and must include links to the articles, along with the song(s)/album(s) your label is currently promoting Every 2 weeks, there will be an updated "Popular Genre" list. Genres will be listed in order from most popular/trendy to least. Depending on the genre of your artists release and that genres popularity score on the list, it will effect the position of the song/album on the chart A point system will be used to calculate chart positions, which will be a combination of promo, creativity (visuals, descriptions), controversy, collaborations, and trends based on the Popular Genre list. ________________________________________________________ RELEASING MATERIAL ________________________________________________________ SINGLE RELEASE REQUIREMENTS Make an announcement post in the thread and the post must include: Name of the single Songwriters, producers, and collaborators Release Date Artwork (optional, but will help towards chart position) A single will NOT chart without a minimum of ONE article of promo ALBUM RELEASE REQUIREMENTS Must make a post in the thread and include: Name of the Album Songwriters, producers, and collaborators Release Date Artwork (optional, but will help towards chart position) An album will NOT chart without a minimum of THREE articles of promo THESE RELEASE RULES ALSO APPLY TO EPs, LIVE ALBUMS, COMPILATIONS, ETC. MUSIC VIDEO RELEASE REQUIREMENTS Must make a post in the thread and include: Name of the Video Director Release Date Short/Medium Description (Optional, but contributes to creativity points for charting) ________________________________________________________ BOOKING TV/MEDIA PROMO SLOTS All TV and interview promo spots are open and there is no limit to them. This means any label can book any show whenever they want; no limits. The promo used must be a real life TV program, website, or other platform. (Example: Ellen, Wendy Williams, Magazines, etc.) CONTROVERSY Controversy can help an artists popularity or current material they are promoting, but too much negative controversy can have a negative effect on commercial success. If you desire, you can approach other labels and members to start controversy or media stories with other artists on a label other than your own. WORKING/COLLABORATING WITH OTHER LABELS All players and labels are completely free to collaborate and release joint projects with artists signed to the label. These releases must be mutual. If both labels promote a release that is a collaboration between artists on two labels, both labels can promote the same material. Yeah exactly, I plan on making this a very simple and fun game, not some stressful rush to get 100 articles with paragraphs on paragraphs and stuff like that.
