ATRL's TOTEM POLE: Modified Mechanics

Hi everyone! Just posting here if anyone's interested. This MIGHT happen on November

The Totem Pole is a new social strategy game! If you love Big Brother and Survivor, you're going to love this game.

A minimum of 13 players to a maximum of 20 players will be placed to live in one house where they need to compete every rounds

The Totem Pole Game has five things that happen every round

At the beginning of every round, we will play in a game for the Top Of The Totem Pole (TOTTP)

The TOTTP  is safe from the elimination AND the vote. 

The challenge may be a combination of a mini round and a maxi challenge:

 

Mini Round - maybe online games

Maxi Challenge - maybe sending in songs or videos or pictures

It can be a song round to fit a certain theme

It can be a video round where you might send in music videos, movie trailers, scenes, etc to fit a certain theme

it can be a picture round where you need to fit a certain theme

note: no need to stick to a certain artist here

How to determine the winner:

We can go with a PANEL type or just have PLAYERS decide the rankings

We could choose to have a set of judges or just have the players of the game rank one another

where entries will be anonymous 

If we go with a panel, we will need volunteers to be judges of this game

 The top of the totem pole (TOTTP) will have the opportunity to pick who among the Bottom 3 to be

in the last place and is at risk for elimination. This person will be named the Bottom Of The Totem Pole (BOTTP)

 

The Bottom of the Totem Pole (BOTTP) might be eliminated.

NOTE: if we will have double eliminations due to great amount of players (if ever0, we might have double eliminations.

If it is a double-elimination time, the BOTTP will be automatically eliminated.

Every player has a number with their name on it. Whoever is drawn, becomes The Switch for that round.

 

The Switch must then get back in line and select TWO players to switch positions on the pole.

The Bottom Of The Totem Pole (BOTTP) has one final chance to save themselves.

They will put their game in the hands of someone else. They will pick ONE Defender.

 

The Defender will go in front of everyone and make a selection:

A: Save the bottom of the totem pole or someone else is eliminated at random or it can be a through a vote

(or)

B: Eliminate the bottom of the totem pole and get an ADVANTAGE aka Take Power in the game.

No matter what they pick from the two selections, they are safe

the Defender is safe from the vote, but they are NOT safe from the random elimination.

If The Defender chooses to save the BOTTP, a VOTE to ELIMINATE will take place.

The surviving players will be given 12-24 hours to strategize before the vote.

Whichever player receives the most votes will be eliminated from the game.

The Top Of The Totem Pole (TOTTP) and The Defender are safe from the vote.

On top of that, there are hidden Secret Advantages and Expose cards throughout the house.

If you find one you can use it, for example, some cards make people vote out loud, this could very well unleash drama into the house, and blow up other contestants games.

In the end game after almost all of the players been eliminated the final three must face the jury, where a winner is crowned.
