Wild? Trash year. Complete trash.

DRjuss06's Weekly Top 25, BODAK RISES!
I finally have access to my account again. Should I resume this? Also, horrible Top 10 for my previous one up there.

Taylor Swift - ‘Midnights’
I agree. Even her voice sounds better. … but she makes no mistakes.

HDD FINAL: 'Midnights' 1,537,699 (1,119,401 pure)
She would’ve sold 2m if she had withheld the album from streaming first week. I do understand that it is simply not possible anymore with most people consuming music via streaming, but Taylor shows that you can sell physical/digital dowloads still. I wonder how she’ll do in the 2nd week but I can see her do at least 300k with 500k not out of the question. This will continue to be the top album for the rest of the year. Interesting to see how Drake will do next week.

Taylor aiming for entire top 10
The delusion of some people to undermine her achievements by comparing her to Drake when she is literally rivaling him in streams and you cannot compare Taylor and Drake in terms of pure sales because be also comes up short. In the end, they are both very popular artist whose peaks have been extraordinary in the charts and they both should he applauded for it. Also, if it was that EASY for someone to debut 10 songs in the top 10, then other people would’ve accomplished this by now. She continues to amaze me. She really surrounds herself with smart and savvy people.

HDD: Bad Bunny 13x #1 83k, Slipknot #2 58k, Tyler #9 25k, Tory #10 25k, Kid Kudi #12
That has a lot to do with the decrease, I think. People usually listen to the artist they are about to see so if no concerts, less streams.

Chromatica Ball cut 5 songs early due to storm
You weren’t there so stop speculating.

Chromatica Ball cut 5 songs early due to storm
Umm, you do realize that stadiums have inside areas right? So we were not outside while it was thundering. And yes I waited for a few songs because that’s what I paid for.

H100: As It Was 14x #1, Super Freaky Girl #3, I Like You #5, You Proof #6
He will definitely continue at #1 until Taylor, who will get 4-5 weeks until he retakes it again for a couple of weeks towards the end of the year. But then again, he is actively touring the album so the streams will be high in the US until its run there. So maybe he’ll decrease a lot and Taylor will stay ahead longer. Either way, it really is amazing seeing him succeed this way. It just shows that there is a market to explore with Latinx people.

Chromatica Ball cut 5 songs early due to storm
I was there. It was an amazing show up until the lightning was about to start. I’m proud of her for thinking about everyone’s safety but it really sucked waiting for almost 2 hours to then come back and not have the rest of the show. To the people that are saying that she was not genuinely hurt, she really was sorry and sad about it. And she was still wearing the same outfit when she came out to let us know that it wouldn’t happen so that shows that she at least tried to continue the show. The lightning was crazy tho but at least we through all the hits lol

Early Hot 100 predictions (Winston): AIWx 14 #1, SFG #2, Bad Habit #3
Completely agree. Radio is still consumed A LOT, regardless of the payola. Harry’s run across all metrics has been outstanding. The song has been bigger than Old Time Road for example.

H100: Break My Soul 2x #1, STAYING ALIVE #5, Bad Habit #6, Bad Decisions #10
Thanks for all the info!

H100: Break My Soul 2x #1, STAYING ALIVE #5, Bad Habit #6, Bad Decisions #10
And B replacing Lizzo as well. Will this be some kind of record?
-
HDD: Rod Wave #1 120k, Bad Bunny #2 107k, Megan Thee Stallion #3 66k, Beyoncé #4 62k
Well, he is still on tour and his fans are digesting the album as a whole so he will probably keep pulling at least 50-75k for a LONG time. Honestly, as someone that grew up in the 90s, I’m 33 now, Ive always been skeptical of streaming and it’s impact on the charts because I think that downloading or buying a physical album, is a more legitimate way to estimate not only sales but revenue, but Bad Bunny has changed my mind. He is breaking all kinds of records while not releasing music in English. That is impressive. It shows that there is a market not only for music in Spanish, but for Latin consumers as well. Streaming really has democratized the charts which is cool. Also, the fact that the album has so many different songs, it really is a pleaser for a lot of people. End rant lol

Why did Kiss It Better flop?
Honestly, now listening to it, it doesn’t sound like a pop song, or at least not anything like her other smashing songs at the moment. But as mentioned above, the song is amazing and a fan favorite. It also got a Grammy nomination (which it should’ve won tbh) so that’s pretty memorable.

Cardi B, Kanye West & Lil Durk - "Hot ****"
This is good. Cardi ate Kanye up. He has gotten so lazy rapping.
-
Drake - 'HONESTLY, NEVERMIND'
I dont understand the hate for the album. I quite enjoyed it. I like the fact that he went there. He is vulnerable and took a chance on this so i think it’s foolish to dismiss it as “halfbaked” as some of you describe it. Ps: i agree, his voice in Falling Back is horrible but the beat is ?

H100: First Class 3x #1, You Proof #6, Kendrick Lamar debuts 4 songs for top 10
But he wasnt even #2… agreed tho. You would think he would have more #1s for as popular as he is.

HDD predictions: Kendrick 350-400K, Jack 160-180K, Bad Bunny 125-150K, Post 250-275K
Nah, Bad Bunny wouldve still come out on top. Everyone is understimating him and it is really infuriating when the guy is one of the biggest stars in the world.

HDD Camila Cabello Familia.. let the anticipation begin
Sorry but this album is trash.
-
H100: Heat Waves 3x #1, Ghost #6, Enemy #8
Whether it deserves it or not, the song broke the record.
-
H100: We Don’t Talk About Bruno 5x #1, abcdefu #3, Ghost #7, Cold Heart #10
You cannot compare a song that has been in the charts for a year to two front loaded #1s.

"Dangerous: The Double Album" breaks tie with "1989"; spends more time in top 5
Country fans are pure trash.
