Who said she was threatened by Aaliyah? That doesn't even make sense since Aaliyah was gone by the time Beyonce went solo. And before Beyonce went solo she was still "Beyonce of Destiny's Child". Aaliyah was popular enough to have your faves performing her songs overseas and giving her interviews ,asking for all of her next moves on the red carpet, and Beyonce still cites Aaliyah as an influence. Alot of girls in here are so concerned about what Aaliyah sold off of iconic and innovative music from 15+ years ago. Whatever she sold, the legends still praised and your faves still stanned. Keep hoping and praying by using this fansite. I'd be mad too lol

The sales in here are just estimates.. Whats your logic? And Aaliyah's music has been out of print, digitally and physically since 2003. She sold 10 million albums in the US alone, as confirmed by BILLBOARD. Move along dummy.

Beyonce's sales arent great either. She has huge promo, tons of re-releases and video albums just to sell an album. Her music can never stand on its own. And thats with Bey making generic and safe music, as compared to Aaliyah who made music that wasn't for the masses and took risks. Her music wasn't as mainstream and safe. And both of Aaliyah's albums were multi platinum without having to drop out of high school like Bey before death. Find another excuse.
