More like popular actors according to a basic Film Twitter user. On one side, it's ridiculous how people are fed up at Glen when he's the one truly booked and busy, regardless of his age. Twisters and Hit Man are definitely gonna be his real tests. But some of them are overhyped like, Elordi? His career so far consists on being the hot supporting character and nothing else. Mescal? Overrated and overhyped, the GP doesn't know who he is, and his test is going to be Gladiator 2... he better start praying that it's not another mixed Ridley Scott film and that the movie breakevens with the recent string of bombs we're seeing. Not even with that random Oscar nom he has proved that he's A-list. As for people mentioning Tom, his career is a disaster. So there's actual reasons and I completely get why he's not included here. Despite that he has at least another franchise that did decently, while there's people in this list with some recent flops while leading (Anya), not even a single blockbuster (Elordi) or yet to be proved (Ortega, Mescal), meanwhile Powell and Butler are gonna confirm (or not) this status. I still think that Chalamet needs to lead a non-IP/non-adaptation film to truly validate he's the so called biggest star of this gen that the industry think he is, although he's really the one that has already credentials, prestige and popularity, so...

I just watched it today for the first time and it's a NO. John William's score is the most transcendental aspect of the whole movie to the point of overshadowing it, perhaps the practical effects as well, but it's far away from even being Spielberg's best. For sure it's a classic and has its impact, but it's not the most impactful.
