  1. Ukraine is making some significant progress, but it remains to be seen what its post-war future will look like. Russia-occupied Ukraine would obviously be extremely anti-gay. If Ukraine becomes part of the EU during the next decade, it will certainly become more gay-friendly. https://united24media.com/latest-news/ukraine-lgbtq-rights-advance-with-first-legal-recognition-of-same-sex-couple-9612
  2. Absolutely not. Gwen has never been strongly associated with a progressive or activist identity, and her transition felt rather authentic due to her relationship with Blake Shelton. A full-on MAGA/trad wife rebrand for Katy Perry would completely kill her career since she has always been a provocative pop star who rejected her strict religious upbringing. Katy needs to bring back Prism-esque aesthetics and release a breakup anthem.
  3. I guess the fact that it's a personal song makes it even better.
  4. Pink is on par with Beyoncé in terms of her album stats and tour stats. Her longevity is very impressive, but gay people do not consume her music. She's your typical soccer mom singer.
  5. Happy for You, but it's a close second.
  6. Her music has never been popular with the gays. Her stats are impressive, but there is like one Pink song that I like.
  7. Pretty sure that I reported "cokenika." Maybe there was a mistake.
  8. She was definitely a MPG during The E.N.D.
  9. You said that Rihanna, who is basically a retired legacy act at this point, is an MPG while Katy is not an MPG despite the fact that The Lifetimes Tour will be bigger than any Rihanna tour. Make it make sense.
  10. I am in my 20s, but I heard a lot about Jessica in the 00s without actually hearing her music. I vaguely remember watching one of her reality shows on MTV (I guess it was "The Price of Beauty"). The fact that she has a sister with an actual music career genuinely comes as a surprise to me (and I don't mean to be shady). Apparently, there's also some sort of a stan feud between their fans
  11. This is honestly the first (or second) time that I hear about Ashlee.
  12. You cannot lose your MPG status once you achieve it since it is an all-encompassing category that requires significant achievements.
  13. This doesn't make any sense. Rihanna is a main pop girl despite not releasing music for a decade, but Katy is not one despite the fact that she is currently on a huge tour? Katy will always be a MPG. Be serious. TD is one of the most streamed albums as of today. This shameless sneak
  14. Miley's total EAS is almost twice as big as that of Selena. Miley will have four diamond songs, multi-platinum albums, Grammys, multiple #1s, huge pop culture moments (she was the most googled person of 2013). Why wouldn't she qualify as a MPG? I agree that she lacks a blockbuster era like TD or 1989, but she has the second most certified female song to make up for that.
  15. No. Even Hillary Duff and Jessica Simpson are more likely to be called MPGs since they have multi-platinum albums. Selena's album stats are abysmal. Her biggest era (Revival) is at 6 million CSPC.
