I know, but I was so hopeful and I didn't think it could be this bland I'm not mad or complaining about the money, I'm just disappointed the product wasn't what I hoped it would be.

I think we're all perfectly chill. We're just discussing our thoughts and feelings on the album. You don't have to let our opinions ruin your enjoyment, I am glad others are loving it. It's just not hitting for everyone.

Yeah the only songs you can even remotely call "bangers" are Elizabeth Taylor and Cancelled. I am so disappointed, and regret buying so many copies to support her return to "pop" with Max Martin. There's no variation in the structures, her delivery is pretty much the same, and the topics at hand are getting tired...how many different ways can she say "I want you" or "you want me" We need a 2 year break from her, and she needs to come back inspired by something she hasn't done before. I need to see a true evolution from her in order to want to support future releases like I did with this. And I'm not complaining to complain or be a hater, just truly expressing my thoughts and feelings. I know she doesn't owe me/us anything, but I would love to see one of my favorite artists to actually branch out artistically.

I pre-ordered 4 versions of the album and I am going to Target at midnight for the vinyl, I think I am entitled to some appetizers...

Please nooo We want something different. There are so many producers in this world. She needs to start branching out at this point. Imagine an album produced by MNEK? That would slap so hard

I am feeling the same way. It isn't bad by any means, it's enjoyable but not worth the insane hype she created by telling us it is a Max album. I so badly want an experimental album from her We need heavy switch ups in production halfway through songs, abstract structures, interesting vocal effects, a couple big vocal moments, etc. Like girl, Swifties eat up anything you make, might as well make it interesting and refreshing. This might be random but I'd love a Taylor version of Djo's album DECIDE.

I agree, although I did enjoy Chillin' With A Showgirl (Featuring Sabrina Carpenter) more than I thought I would!

It's just because part 2 of Wednesday S2 comes out on Netflix that day, which will be where the song is used and Gaga's cameo happens.

I hope she's already made TS12 just so this will be the case. So poetic that she'll get to make her 13th album knowing she owns all her past work! 🥹

I'm banking on the fact this is 6 years* since the 2019 AMAs that she performed the medley of stolen songs at, which wasn't long after Trash bought her masters and confirmed she would be re-recording her albums. *6 years/Rep is 6th album
