people hating on this seem to forget her roots. does no one remember Same Trailer Different Park??? To me it's pretty clear she is making this record a bit more playful compared to the serious tones of Deeper Well and Star-crossed

Earth, Wind, and California through Waterfalls is such an insane track run. I absolutely love this album and think it's a valid switch up from Dawn. Easily going to end up in my top 10 for the year.

this song has a stronghold on me I didn't realize would be possible based on the teases. I firmly believe anyone who says this is bad has the taste of....a tasteless person.

what an unbelievable timeline for this song. mid-late 2024 - sleeper hit that is lowkey all over the place but not an "official" single so mostly found on social media and some stream playlists. amazing live production released and goes semi-viral 2025 - song still weirdly relevant and popular despite little to no promotion -> lets make it an official single. continues to hold very steady on streamers and radio play slowly ramps up until it's being played on pop radio quite regularly. 2026 - song still VERY weirdly relevant and popular on all platforms and considered one of her best songs at this point. ends up nominated for ROTY and SOTY (being considered an underdog at this point and a "respect" nomination).................-> wins SOTY.....

GREAT song - clearly a somewhat different direction for Lana with the vocals and production elements. Haters can argue with a wall.

Okay...it's been three months. I am of the same opinion as day one and that is: BLUE is her best song ever and it's truly not even close.

I've been slain. I take back criticisms of her team this era. They're playing the organic success up like pros. These performances and subtle promos are doing wonders for her. People love organic success (see: Chappell Roan). The big three for this year will certainly be Billie/Sabrina/Chappell in no particular order.

Doubtful in the US at least - possibly in the UK. I don't think this will have even a week of longevity in the US unfortunately...it's just not the type of music people have on repeat here.
