I love Somebody Else's more and more every listen, her vocal delivery is such classic Gwen. I also assume we'll get "Bouquet" the song before the album releases but with how unsupportive Interscope has been, is not having a music video the new normal? True Babe, Purple Irises, Somebody Else's all haven't had videos.

She can always do quirky again later, but this vibe just suits her so much better right now bc we know it's what she's really feeling... this is the music she really wants to make, and you can so feel that difference compared to a forced-copy-of-previous-Gwen song. Honestly sounds more rock than country to me

Makes sense, Rock Steady, The Singles, Everything In Time, LAMB, TSE were all released in the 4th quarter.

That's what I'm always saying too, other fandoms aren't getting any new releases so I still think we're lucky... plus Gwen has said she already has a concept for the album after this one, so maybe that'll be something quirky

Yeah I mean I think the most we could hope for with Gwen in the future is a Padam Padam moment but otherwise it's really not likely any music she releases will be a smash. And her label knows this so they're not gonna waste the money on promo. I think she's at a point in her career where she can focus on her legacy (with No Doubt and solo), and just make the music she wants to make. She tried making music for what she thought he fans wanted... reggae-Gwen Let Me Reintroduce Myself, quirky-Gwen Slow Clap, alternative-Gwen True Babe... but I'd rather her make the music she wants to make, which because she's older and married and this is what the vibe they listen to around the house... is kinda this soft rock vibe.

I think it sounds good, and agree it's best chance at it performing well... but she has a whole album coming in May, and this is probably (lol) the only song he's on haha

Britney is the featured artist on the Spatial Audio page on Apple too, but it's only showing Blackout, Circus, In The Zone, Femme Fatale, Glory, and Britney Jean so I assume all of those are entirely in Dolby? My guess is it's a bit trickier with her older albums, as they likely just don't have as many preserved digital master files to work with... it can be done, but I hope we've got a top tier mixer doing it! It's not *only* Apple Music, Dolby Atmos is also available on Tidal and Amazon Music--just not Spotify... but yeah, I agree, Apple Music is the way to go. Also, just because it's available in Dolby Atmos doesn't mean it's playing in Dolby Atmos, so to anyone unimpressed--make sure the Dolby Atmos symbol pops up as you're playing... sometimes you have to turn it on in your settings. I've found it easier on my phone than my computer, for what it's worth.

Pixies lead singer Frank Black informed his bandmates that he quit via fax in 1993—by this point, he and bassist Kim Deal weren’t even on speaking terms, and that silence stuck for over a decade. 11 years later, the Pixies reunited for Coachella 2004. Rage Against the Machine reunited for Coachella 2007, seven years after their breakup. When asked about the possibility of a Guns N’ Roses reunion in 2012, Axl responded “not in this lifetime”—but Paul Tollett kept trying. “When I go for [a band] that’s not together, I never lead with the money, because it offends those artists,” Tollett said. “It can turn them off and the communication stops. Not because of the number, it’s just because commerce is the first discussion.” Slash did a guest appearance with Motorhead at Coachella 2014, and got a taste of Coachella’s atmosphere, and the seeds were planted for Guns N’ Roses to reunite for Coachella 2016. Guns N’ Roses post-Coachella reunion “Never In This Lifetime” tour, which went on to be the second-highest grossing tour of all time (behind U2’s 360° tour), was announced March 25th, 2016 (a little over two weeks before the Coachella reunion would take place). G N’ R evaded Coachella’s infamous radius clause (which prevents Coachella acts from performing in Los Angeles or San Diego within a certain window of time surrounding the festival) by playing a warm-up show at the 500-capacity Troubadour on April 1st, before playing two sold out shows at Las Vegas’ new T-Mobile Arena, which has a capacity of 28,849, the weekend before Coachella 2016. And the 175 date tour that followed their two-weekend Coachella performances. This year’s festival will see SoCal’s own No Doubt reuniting for the first time in 9 years, after—by many accounts—not being on speaking terms for the majority of that time. The news of the Orange County band’s reunion has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response in the press, leading many fans to wonder if they’ll announce more shows… but, right now, No Doubt is fulfilling it’s part of the agreement by selling tickets to the festival. The radius clause means they won’t be playing any arenas in LA in the surrounding months, at least not officially. Four nights before headlining the televised Global Citizen festival in New York on September 27th 2014, No Doubt played an off-the-books “friends and family” show at The Forum in Los Angeles’ neighboring Inglewood, with many of its biggest fans getting free tickets as even Gwen Stefani doesn’t have 17,000 friends and family. Whether it’s a secret LA show, or a warm up jaunt in Vegas, one can assume No Doubt isn’t gonna hit the Coachella main stage for their highly anticipated return without warming up—but when and where, and will the reunion lead to more shows, are answers we likely won’t have until late March or April. More often than not, the reunited band stays together, but only time will tell.
