This!!! There is a disconnect about why her music hasn't caught on with the masses. I think she should have focused on acting and then released music. She needed to build her fanbase and introduce herself to the world as Leigh Anne and not the Black chick from Litte Mix. She ate her role up in Boxing Day. If I was managing her, I would have her act more, get on some features and maybe do a streaming platform reality show based around her going through the journey as a solo artist…. I will be shocked if this album makes top 25 in the UK. Her tour also not selling out and she's doing smalllll venues is concerning

Sza, Doechii, Summer Walker, Kehlani, Coco Jones, Raye, Doja Cat....all Black women who are doing great in America and Europe Does race play a part? Yes, but let's be honest here, Leigh Anne has her sister managing her. Her sister has no experience in this field and was just working a regular 9-5 office job a couple of years ago. Leigh needs to invest in a real experienced management team that can help her. I've always said that Leigh should have focused on movies/TV before releasing solo material. She ate up her role in "Boxing Day." I'm an American, and even I know she's still not as popular as the other members of Little Mix; therefore, she needed to build her fanbase up, and I think acting and trying to pull a duet song with a major artist would have been the way to go. I read something interesting on another forum where someone had asked why Black Brits weren't supporting Leigh in droves, and someone had said that Leigh in the last couple of years has just recently started to tap into her Blackness, and she doesn't really have that connection with Black Brits because of the type of music she used to make with Little Mix; and now some of her white fans are not fully supporting the music because she's doing R&B-dancehall, which is totally different from the poppy Little Mix sound, and those might be the reasons why she can't find an audience that translates into success.

I'm confused because I've seen interviews where Leigh said that the producers from X-factor forced her to cut her hair and dye it red. Since Rihanna was a Black girl out on the scene with red hair they were trying to ride that wave….I remember clearly Leigh saying that "the look" wasn't her and that's when she started to realize that many people in the industry don't know what to do with Black talent. But now the red hair is her alternate ego in this solo album venture? Make it make sense??!???

This is what I've been saying. She has a cute bop here and there (omg is my favorite of her releases), and I liked an unreleased track she previewed on TikTok, but other than that... Leigh-Anne is kind of boring. And Tyla breaking out around the same time as Leigh-Anne's solo debut killed her momentum, in my opinion. I think Leigh-Anne doesn't have an exciting personality. She's also married with kids, which unfortunately is a dealbreaker in the pop world unless you're a Beyoncé. And many people (fans included) do not like her husband. Kelly Rowland was right about the girls; they're better together as a group.

The show in Dublin where did she perform at? A restaurant? It was so small and cramped. I wonder how artists feel going from stadiums to small venues like that…I know she's technically a new artist and has to start from the ground up…but still what a change!
