3 months ago if we were told DL3 lead would debut top 10 on the Hot 100 and #1 in the UK we would have screamed. Instead it’s looking like a #11 debut in the US + #2 in the UK. It is an unlucky start to the era but we’ll be fine.

UK loves need to step it up. 4,500 units is a gap that should be beatable with the physicals.

Not having a fanbase isn’t a huge concern in the streaming era imo. It’s bad for debuts, but as long as the GP interest is there like it was for FN then she will continue to generate hits even if it means slowly rising up the charts.

Top 10 debut would be nice. For the next few days/weeks we shouldn’t worry too much about its performance because Xmas bomb is about to obliterate the charts. Our best bet is hoping TikTok picks this up by the New Year so it can peak in Feb a la DSN.
