I wanted to love it, but yeah this is bad. Pretty generic and corny for him. But it's also classic Max so maybe it'll grow on me. My major bug is the chorus resolution - 'dancing in the flames' is pretty cliched (as someone else mentioned), but 'it's indescribable', just UGH. It is literally your work as songwriters to describe it! You need a killer closing line to contextualize and give meaning to the rest of the lyric, otherwise it's just boilerplate. At least attempt to paint the picture!
