Her vocals are great on this but the song is gonna have grow on me. It isn’t picking up immediately like her first 3 singles did for me.

i feel like it’s too similar to SOUR. i understand the desire for not a full 180 reinvention but it’s so similar, even the stickers and shirts in the box sets. vampire looks very minimalist along with this, so I don’t know how to feel about this era. i just hope the music is more hard hitting and bold.

It’s because the eras aren’t interesting imo. This illuminati/good girl turned bad/shaved head has been done before and it isn’t providing anything fresh, relatable, or captivating for people to be interested. I think Doja is quite creative, which is why this release disappointed me the most. I worry Olivia’s single is gonna be dry too.
