I see no reason why they would have dropped $5 digital copies, or a bunch of digital copies on the website with different covers. She already sold more than 2.5x more albums than the #2 album this week. Totally unnecessary to unleash all the tricks when she was already debuting #1. They have shown this entire album cycle that they do not care to pull stupid stunts to inflate numbers (with the exception of DWAS which was clearly not intended to be a part of this album lmao). She got her #1 and that's awesome. This era is just beginning. She has so much coming up and it's clear they're playing the long game. They are going to carry promo for this album until the next Grammy awards. They want that AOTY.
