What made RAYE hit hard is the shift of style. It seems that Polydor strategy is completely awful. Forcing a pop track made strictly for radio is not doing their acts justice at all. If you compare RAYE recent songs to whatever Polydor made her release, you'll notice the shift in sound. Euphoric Sad Songs and Call On Me literally sounds nothing like Escapism, and honestly? As much as I loved ESS, I prefer this style from Raye because she's so talented. While I do love Let Them Know, it aged like milk . Mabel might need to run I was today years old when I knew RAYE and Mabel were/are in Polydor. Now I see the pattern that seems to be consistent. They tried to do that with Jesy too and got her so controversial and then when she failed to exceed expectations, they dropped her? Polydor, time to wake up baby.

This and the news of AB1 being released in early 2023 spawning in the same week tells me god is finally on Ally's side!
