I read all the lyrics right now again and it is from a place of healing but why this theme as a single? out of nowhere and this is theme you release your song about? two months after your wedding? also, the lyrics does give off heavy Taylor vibes and rhyme etc. reading them again makes me think it's the real lyrics. i'm over the singing about her past relationships even if it's in a form of advice. like, if it was a deep cut in an album, fine. great. but as a single out of nowhere?? just to sing about that? i'm not here for it. Showgirl is one of my favs. it's still my most streamed album every month this year. but Ruin The Friendship takes me out of this album. it feels so out of a place in this album. so if these are the real lyrics, i'm not for it. I could be wrong and i'd love it. but the theme of once again talking about high school or her last relationship when she already moved on and her previous relationship has been over 3 years now. this harping is too much. we got it. let's move on. let's move forward. i'm not pleading for Travis love songs. I'm a tayvis stan haha. but this theme again ESP. because it's a stand alone single out of nowhere and that's what you're singing about? 2 months after your wedding you release a song about advice because of what you went through in previous relationships? it bums me out if this is real. i'm not trying to be a hater. i'm super excited. I just think because it's like A SINGLE. where it gets a lot of attention and this is the theme?? huh?! IDK. again, if this was part of the Showgirl Deluxe tracks I wouldn't care. but the fact that this is the theme for a lead single?

I hope the "leaked lyrics" are not real. because I don't want another sad song about her past relationship. I mean, i'm not against sad songs. just.. we get it. it's been 3 years since then. you found your man. why harp on previous relationships so much. look forward to the future.

It's ANYTHING Taylor would do. it doesn't matter, they'll find the angle to hate on it. they're tired of her because their favs are not at the top. they believe Taylor doesn't deserve this level of success. but mind you, if their favs made the same song they **** on, they would love it. it's the Taylor effect for them.

Oh, not at all. I still don't want Jack and i'm tired of their work together. I want Taylor to work with someone new. I love Showgirl. it's still my most streamed album every month since release. I don't care how much everyone hates it. it's actually makes me love it even more. I know Taylor will work with Jack forever. doesn't mean I need to like it. much prefer Max Martin, Ryan Tedder over Jack.

Midnights has no upbeat at all. it's all midtempo never going anywhere Jack production. from what I listened to, this album is a vibe, groovy and much better than Midnights. for me, Midnights and Lover are her worst albums. but this one gives me much better production.

Well, Jason Kelce's favorite TTPS song is I Can Do It With A Broken Heart. and if they consider that "a banger" we're in trouble. I will say a "banger" doesn't have to be head banging, I Did Something Bad or Ready For It (my favs). there are variations. Travis calling it "fun pop" makes me worried it's bubblegum pop.

I only listened to 3 songs but I love The Alchemy. it's so cute and tayvis coded. I did not want a whole album of ratty healy. but from what I see most fans don't like the alchemy

Not above pop. not at all. my favorite albums are reputation,folklore and speak now. I just don't want to feel like a new album sound like an older one of hers. I watched so many youtube reactions of 1989 TV and a lot of fans said the vault tracks sound like midnights songs. and that's not what I want. I don't want us to listen to TTPD and think "oh, this sound like a rep song" or this is a midnights reject. I want Taylor to surprise and do something different/new. it doesn't mean I don't want pop. my Jack issue is nothing to do with pop. i'm just tired of their work together.

I don't take a lot of the title tracks cause we don't know what the vibe is. it could be either way. reputation is in my top 3 albums and tracks like 'King Of My Heart' 'I Did Something Bad' followed by 'Don't Blame Me' could sound cringe and/or corny when you don't know how they sound. but they are some of my favorites on reputation. plus, Taylor IS corny. she is cringe. she said so herself "embrace the cringe". it's nothing new with her and I still love her music. though Loser is her worst album ever in my opinion so I do hope we DON'T get Loser 2.0 or to be honest even Midnights 2.0. I don't another album that we listen to and we say "oh, that sounds like a Red song" I want her to surprise us. I was shocked (for the best) when 1989 came out, when reputation came out, when folklore came out. midnights was a disappointing album to me. I only love the 3am edition. i'm over the synth pop Jack of it all. and I know better than to just blame Jack because apparently he's works with Lana and other artists show he can produce different music, so the blame is on Taylor and Jack together making the same old songs over and over again. so I am in the camp of NOT wanting an entire Jack album again like midnights. enough. he can produce 2-3 songs and that's it. not an entire album!! regarding the poets... I have no thoughts. I am excited. I just don't wanna get disappointed again like I was with Midnights. I want real instruments sound. and by that I mean, not not necessarily have to record with live instruments. I don't care if it's a drum machine or whatever. I want the songs to sound like a real guitar. bass, drums. i'm tired of Jack and Taylor synth pop.

Well, she does have a bed on her private jet, so it's not like she has to keep herself busy all the flight time. but I get what you mean. it can be draining mentally and physically at a certain point. even with the best conditions.

Yeah. reaching these records and milestones is part of what motivates her to work harder.
