Britney at her peak was a much better performer than Taylor but part of what made the Eras Tour so successful wasn't just Taylor's ability as a performer, it was her stamina and ability to get through a 3 hour show a few times every week for over a year. Like someone said earlier, I don't know if Britney could have done that even when she was in better health, especially considering how much more complex and demanding Britney's choreography would be

I think a large theme of the album will be Taylor feeling the need to defend herself against Joe and the rest of the world for writing another breakup album. Judging by her personal style, the random pictures she chooses for her album covers despite many pictures from the photoshoot clearly being better, and her bland self-directed music videos, I think it's fair to say she doesn't have much of an eye for aesthetics. Most of the most iconic visuals of her career like the Love Story video were directed by other people and I really wish she would relinquish some of that creative control. I think if she worked with an actual creative director for her albums and videos they would be much more striking and memorable.

Despite how awful Midnights was and this album's horrendous song titles, I'm cautiously optimistic. Have faith in the lord seestah. Besides, if TTPD really is that bad at least we'll have each others shoulders to cry on

Finally caught up on this thread I'm sorry but nothing about this insider is clicking. Having access to a tracklist versus six entire songs from the most anticipated album currently from the most popular artist alive are two different things. There's no way anyone other than the people working on it and maybe some higher ups at Taylor's label have heard the music at this point. This "insider's" descriptions are broad and fit well enough with what the album will most likely be that unless TTPD is her turn to folkloric Norwegian death metal, their ass will be covered.
