  1. According to Billboard, the Magic Hour tour grossed $41.8 million during its run, selling 345,000 tickets across 29 shows. The final numbers give Jhene the sixth highest grossing R&B tour of 2024. I know some people originally doubted she could do an arena tour, especially with no new album out, but she clearly exceeded expectations. Looking forward to what's next!
  2. Jhene confirmed in the comments of a recent Instagram post that she'll be doing another movie, album, and poetry book. She was recently filming something in Northern California with her longtime collaborator, photographer, and video director Topshelf Junior, and he posted some BTS of their trip. The video isn't all that exciting, but his caption is interesting. Anyway, here's the video:
  3. Watching people try to legitimize Jaguar Wright after all these years of her unsubstantiated claims has been unbelievable. The idea that she must be telling the truth since no one has tried to sue her yet (even though she reportedly has nothing to her name) was also crazy. It's irresponsible for anyone to provide her a platform or continue sharing her conspiracies.
  4. No problem! I completely agree that her growth has become apparent with this tour. Openers this time around will be Kiana Lede, Umi, Jessie Reyez, and Shenseea, but the rescheduled Toronto date will get most of the original lineup with Tink instead of Jessie. Presale is on 9/25 and general sale starts on 9/27. Here are the new tour dates:
  5. According to Jhene's website, new dates are being added and tickets will go on sale this week. As of right now, the tour is scheduled to pick up again in Toronto on November 29. @EarStyle
  6. I read the video's comments before watching it, so I was expecting the worst. But, though I could see why people were concerned, after actually watching the interview, I don't have the same view. Hayden seemed to be able to express herself clearly and thoughtfully, and her emotional demeanor was appropriate for the topics addressed. Of course, I could be wrong, but she didn't come off as if she was cognitively impaired or struggling to me. Maybe she has received medical and psychological help, and this is just her new baseline with those interventions. I hope everything she has lined up goes well for her.
  7. From the final stop of the tour in Columbus, Ohio, on August 22. Based on the last count I saw from Jhene's manager, the majority of shows were sold out, which is incredible. A lot of people doubted she would be able to do an arena tour, especially without new music out, but she more than pulled it off. She mentioned a couple of times recently that she plans to continue touring regularly for the next few years, which is great since it seems she's really come into her own as a performer.
  8. If she ever leaned into her popularity on TikTok, it could really be something. Lol. Went to see her in Vegas and the show was great! It was my first time seeing her live and I'm so glad I went. All of the videos lived up to the hype because the whole crowd was singing every song word for word. She didn't preview new music at the end of the show though.
  9. I really did! She really showed out for her hometown. And yeah, I saw her manager's hints about the album. Def Jam's CEO did an interview with Billboard in May and it was mentioned that Jhene is set to release this year. Also, per Billboard: Very proud of what she's accomplished with this tour so far.
  10. The two things I wanted from this tour were a performance with Miguel and a performance with H.E.R. Both happened at Jhene's LA show last night. First time they've performed B.S. together live.
  11. OMG, this sounds so good! I'm guessing it's the same song she posted herself recording in May. We've made it past the literal lullabies (at least for now). Lol. Can't wait to hear the full thing.
  12. Sold out shows at every stop so far. The gender reveal she did during the Orlando show was a pretty cool moment for the fan.
  13. Glad you got to go! From the videos I've seen, the show looks so good.
  14. Before she turned off comments on the post announcing the postponement, she explained some of the issues.
  15. The first 7 shows have been sold out! I'm a little surprised, but so happy for her. The bulk of the set list has stayed the same, with some changes from city to city. I think last night in New Jersey was her first time to perform Living Room Flow on the tour. @EarStyle Are you going to see her this time around?
