  1. Bloody hell, "Brand New Chanel$" sounds absolutely insane! Slayyyter is quickly rising up the ranks to be one of my favourite artists ever, giving up (potentially) 2 AOTY contenders within a few months of each other. You can tell she wants it BAD, and it's always lovely to see that drive in a pop star.
  2. "So Close to What" was my most-played album of 2025 and even made it all the way up to my 2nd most-played album of all time, only behind Paramore's "After Laughter". Needless to say, I'm very excited for whatever Tate comes out with next. I just hope it's mostly bops like "Sports Car", "Purple Lace Bra" and "It's OK, I'm OK".
  3. More Slayyyter is always a good thing. Gimme AOTY 2.0, queen.
  4. I have to say I'm very impressed with this album overall. With Sour and Guts, I enjoyed 2-3 songs from each but nothing else resonated with me. For this, however, I already adore many of the songs—Drop Dead, Stupid Song, Maggots for Brains, Me + You = <3, My Way, The Cure, Expectations and Cigarette Smoke are all 10/10, and even though I don't usually enjoy Olivia's slower songs, Begged is also cute. This will definitely have a lot of replay value for the rest of the year.
  5. This is really solid. The chorus is definitely an earworm—I woke up with it in my head even though I only listened to it once last night. My only complaint is I wish the final chorus was twice as long.
  6. After sitting with it for a few days, I like this a lot more than "Driver's License" and "Vampire". Those were both fine as leads and did what they needed to do, but they ended up as some of my least favourites when their respective albums were released. "Drop Dead" has been instant for me—even when I'm listening to other stuff, I find myself wanting to come back and give it another couple spins. My hype for the album is climbing quite high.
  7. After listening to the full thing (minus "Prayer", which I deleted), my rankings are: Dance… = 10/10 Beat Up Chanel$ = 10/10 Cannibalism! = 10/10 Old Technology = 10/10 Crank = 9/10 Gas Station = 10/10 Yes Goddd = 10/10 Unknown Loverz = 9/10 Old Fling$ = 7/10 I'm Actually Kinda Famous = 9/10 $t. Loser = 10/10 What Is It Like, to Be Liked? = 9/10 Brittany Murphy. = 10/10 Right now, it's my #1 album of the year so far, and has a good chance of staying there.
  8. Only got up to Old Fling$ so far, but it's been gag after gag after gag so far. Oh Slayyyter, don't end everyone else in the industry like that.
  9. I wish "Trying on Shoes" had a proper final chorus, but it's flawless otherwise. The other 3 still need to grow on me.
  10. Coping and telling myself they're saving "Hard" for TM4.
  11. A recent unfortunate flop that deserved much better: Mimi Webb - Confessions.
  12. Looking forward to checking this out, but the title not being centred on the cover is driving me nuts.
  13. Such a shame this made no noise. It's a very solid pop album from start to finish, with some very high highs.
  14. Already 5th in my most-played of all time. I guess you could say I like this album, just a little…
