well, congrats to Gaga on her achievements in the MOVIE industry, which is separate from the MUSIC industry, which happens to be the point of our discussion here. I also do wish Miss Gaga an ounce of luck in her future movie endeavors and hope that her acting career is a lot more stable than her musical one and we don't have to wait another 8 years for her to have a hit movie the way we've very patiently waited for her to have another hit song from 2011 to 2019 and will most likely have to wait just as much for another one.

In those 33 hours SL has been streamed 5.6M times. However, the official first day numbers take into consideration only the first 24 hours in which the song has been streamed, thus a disparity ensues.

on paper those are pretty good numbers, but for Bieber, someone whose forte was supposed to be streaming and given his album's tailor made for Spotify, they are quite underwhelming. For reference those are the first days of the three big MPG albums last year: 67,5 for tu,n, 54,1 for Lover and 48,4 for WWAFAWDWG. Ed Sheeran with his side project also did 45.5. Now we wait so see how much he'll sell, but if he sells like Ariana.... yeah, it's not going to be pretty. I also doubt he serves longevity like Taylor.
