Love that this is going viral on her socials! Kelly really is the best.

Drew and JHud will begin filming their new seasons in about 2 weeks. Sherri and Tamron Hall will also begin filming, but their shows weren’t affected by the WGA strike. With Drew and JHud (surprisingly) set to resume filming, I think TKCS might also start, but not confirmed. The only promo so far for the deluxe is the Today Show concert and the iHeart Radio concert the next day. Hopefully we’ll get other things. Besides The Voice performance, I don’t think there was much else she could do back in June. She cut that because it was on the same lot where TKCS films and she had a lot of staff members who weren’t getting paid. She made the right choice. Everything else was shut down because of the strikes. (Late night shows and TKCS) Excited for Roses to supposedly be released next Friday!

She can, but she doesn’t want to and why should she? This is working for her just fine and people are loving it. Those shows with more production already exist so people can go to those if they’d like. Just like Kellyoke on her talk show, it’s just her and her band and people love them and it’s super successful. People know what to expect and are more than happy to pay to watch her sing.

The show is called “an intimate night” Kelly has said many times this wasn’t going to be the usual Vegas show because of the theme of chemistry and it wouldn’t make sense to have fireworks and who knows what else. It is not cheap or lazy. She is actually singing a bunch of songs. Nobody goes to a Kelly show for hairstyles and clothes. She doesn’t need any of that. Needs to be officially released! and the dress from the album cover and gloves! Today’s show was probably the best one so far from the residency.

I feel like maybe they’ll release the live Belasco tracks as part of the Deluxe album (with the “missing” 3/4 songs from chemistry) Re-release the 14 tracks already released + the unreleased ones + live Belasco tracks... Which could be why they haven’t uploaded the rest of the songs from Belasco on YouTube. or it could all just be wishful thinking from me. 😆

Still #1 on iTunes. She does well with physicals and digital, clearly. The album ended up selling out on Amazon… I’m sure Atlantic has taken notice, but hopefully they make even more available for this and any future albums. :-)

They didn’t. Kelly outsold. They debuted with 52k on Billboard and Kelly with 53k! Kelly outsold by 1k copies. Kelly will resume promotion around September and release a rumored deluxe version. It’s over for them ( jokingly)

Kelly! This is really good. I still wonder how much higher she would’ve done if her show and other talk shows didn’t pause because of the writers strike, and she could’ve promoted properly, but she did so good! Chemistry is a great album. :-)

Debuted at # 6 with 53k .

Do we know when Billboard 200 chart is out? Should’ve already been out I think. Maybe delayed?

Chemistry is back at #1 on iTunes! Pretty cool! iTunes isn’t what it used to be, but it is still a great thing for Kelly, seeing as most of her numbers are from sales like iTunes or physical copies. The album was also #1 on amazon, but fell after all copies were sold out and only copies from other vendors were available (and now will be shipped in a couple weeks) I do wonder when they’ll release the full Belasco show though!!! I need to see High Road and Magic!!

I’m glad KC has good numbers. I’m sure it would have had a bigger opening if she had her talk show to promote the new music and every late night talk show to perform. But I’m sure she’ll do promo when the strike is over… and maybe she’ll release that deluxe version too. 👀 The album is back at #1 on iTunes right now. ITunes isn’t what it used to, but it definitely is a great thing for Kelly!

Reminder HDD uses their own chart and is sometimes higher or lower than the official Billboard 200 chart. But this is great!!

chemistry charted at #34 in the UK. Thought it was predicted in the top 10? But maybe that was only for actual sales. good considering she didn’t promote there. Australia number is also ok, since she didn’t really promote except for a couple interviews the day tracking week ended. :-)

I love this album. So many great songs.

STP, High Road, Rock Hudson and Magic are my favorites right now. I do love the whole album.

Nice!! Obviously promoting and linking to the album will be great, but the full live Belasco show (where she performed every song off the album) will be out on YouTube, so it be nice if that was promoted too. They might upload every performance individually and create a playlist, or have the full thing uploaded in 1 video.. not sure. I think those are the 2 big things. She’ll be doing some fun interviews and stuff, and maybe some secret shows, but not sure if ya’l l would want to promote those.

Still canceled. Fallon is not taping because of the strike. I think her only 2 tv appearances are the Today Show tomorrow morning and WWHL probably airing next week. I think she was hesitant to do any tv promo, but maybe she feels better doing these shows since they don’t have WGA writers.
