Just read the interview excerpt of Billie saying that an album does not need too many songs. I don't think we are over thinking or misreading anymore. I genuinely think she dislikes Taylor's business model and marketing strategy. I hope it blows over but I am all for the competitiveness.

this thread back in the day fanbases used to taunt and tease each other, but we also had fun, especially when we were making fun of our own faves like taylor and the jet thing. why so serious? when 20 versions of "old town road" were released to block all of Taylor's lover singles, we were actually making fun of her. Swifties and lil nas x were tweeting at each other, having a laugh out of it. Billie is an amazing artist with 2 oscars. No one can take that from her. charts are competitive.

I don't think that's fair. Fighting to maintain the no 1 spot versus trying to ruin someone's reputation are quite different. In both cases, Taylor did not make the first punch.
