  1. People stopped buying after her fourth era, not her second
  2. Britney also debuted in a time when people had to actually go out and buy an album, instead of just clicking Buy on the internet
  3. Because Britney commercially peaked with her debut. Adele peaked with her 2nd album... Britney's peak - 32m copies Adele's peak - 32m copies Britney's next album after her peak - 25m copies Adele's next album after her peak - 21m copies ..Adele had the bigger decline not to mention Adele's decline between 25 and 30... from +21m copies to less than 4m..
  4. Britney was a bigger name during her third era (2001) than Adele and Gaga
  5. 15 years in her career Britney made it cool and honorable for younger artists (like Gaga herself) to have a residency in Las Vegas
  6. Literally the only Britney album with negative reviews and no cultural impact is Britney Jean the others have either had big commercial success (BOMT, OIDIA, Britney, Circus, FF) or are critically acclaimed (In The Zone, Blackout, Glory)
  7. who even remembers ASIB besides Shallow? lmao
  8. You forgot "Critically acclaimed fourth album - In The Zone, ???" "Commercially flop but critically acclaimed fifth album - Blackout, ???" Also I don't think Britney was overshadowed but her peers. In what world were Shakira and Pink bigger than Britney during those years? Beyonce, maybe, but Britney was already "declining" in popularity when Beyonce started as a solo artist. So during her prime, Britney was truly the biggest one among her peers (1999-2002), there were lots of popstars during that time, we just remember Xtina because that was her biggest competition, but besides her all of the others were forgotten because they didn't stand a chance against britney or xtina. And of course Britney won against Xtina. Whereas for Gaga, yeah she kind of co-existed with other popstars, she still had the biggest commercial success and cultural impact, but there were a lot of other popstars during her peak that eventually became bigger than her in the music industry (katy, rihanna, taylor).
  9. Don't hate me but I got $1300 tickets for the Premium VIP lounge
  10. Managed to get VIP tickets right next to the stage for the first Miami show OMFG Literally my childhood dream. TAKE MY MONEY RBD
  11. Almost 25 years into her career ??
  12. Vocals: Xtina Dancing: Britney Acting: JLo Songwriting: Billie I guess Innovation: Britney (since Xtina kinda followed the Britney model) so 2000s
