Yes, that's true. But more often than not it doesn't usually happen + probably won't anymore. The digital sales era was a wonder. My main point was that it's typical for an artist who has 9 years over another to be ahead, whether it be in sales, awards, #1s, etc. Anyway, congrats to all once again! Xtina and Mariah selling enough to debut Top 10 both 20 and 29 years into their careers

The way y'all contradict yourselves. If she debuted a decade earlier then OF COURSE she would have more records sold over Xtina. Like duh. ATRL and logic do not seem to go hand in hand, unfortunately. Anyway, had Caution outsold Liberation's first-week, y'all would be JUMPING for joy to drag Xtina (as y'all pressed asses usually do anyway) and switch the narrative from this to "Mariah debuted before her and is still selling more in 2018!!11"

You mean 16k* (both used bundles) Anyway, I know you know that Christina did not release nearly as frequently as Mariah did during her first decade, so it’s not wise to compare an album that was released in 1997 (Mariah’s sixth English studio album) to one that was released in 2018 (Christina’s sixth English studio album).

Will this stop some of the lambs from coming for Xtina? Sadly, probably not. At least she’ll get a Top 5 peak
