JFAD is panned but not because of Gaga. Look at all of the reviews and every single review has something positive to say about her. And Harlequin 73 metacritic score is consider favorable/positive not "middling". And where did you gather that disease got mixed reception? Look at every single critic review, YouTube reaction videos, and the reception online (other than ATRL) and the reviews are very positive.

Setting her up for what? Nothing in the OP is false. Everything she has done this year has been praised by critics and fans regardless of the commercial success of the projects. What makes a great artist is the talent and quality of their work.

This has nothing to do with the fact that everything she has done has been acclaimed or at least well received. Anything that has gone "wrong" was risky in the first place.

Joker Folie a Deux: Gaga is one of the few aspects of the movie to receive praise and acclaim by EVERYONE who watched the movie even from people who hated the movie. Many people were even saying that Gaga was underutilized and they should have added more Gaga scenes. Die With a Smile: both Bruno and Gaga received acclaim and success with this song. With both artist being praised for their vocals and emotion in the song. Harlequin: Gaga receives a strong positive reception from fans and critics alike with a 73 metacritic score. Gaga receives acclaim for her vocals and versatility. Disease: both the video and song receive acclaim from critics and fans. The song is being praised for Gaga's vocals, its unique sound, and overall almost everyone is saying that this is Gaga's return to form. Who else can be acclaimed in a movie, release a classic ballad, release a strong jazz/soul album, an great industrial pop song, and horror themed music video, in a matter of a few months and still receive praise for everything? I don't think any current artist can.

Disease streaming numbers have been falling but here is why this Disease can still go viral. The music video is not out yet. Gaga's music videos usually provide a visual spectacle and provide more context to the song lyrics' so I am sure this will help with the popularity of the song. Gaga hasn't performed the song live and on TV. And as we know the chart performance of many of Gaga's songs are very sensitive to live performances. The song still has a lot of potential to go viral on Tik Tok. Specially as Halloween is coming up this week and we all know anime fans and tv show fans in general love to edit clips to Gaga's songs. The reception to the song has mostly been acclaim from fans, critics, and the GP. If the song is falling is mostly because it is a risky first single and many people are not aware of it yet.

Gaga’s half time had an increase of 6 million compared to the game. More than the other performers. So the increase was because of Gaga/the show and not because of the game.

Had her Super Bowl had the same rating as Rihanna’s or Katy’s than she would have been the most viewed because of her bigger increase.

We all know most of the viewers watching the super-bowl are watching because of the game and not because of the half time show. But why did Gaga attract more viewers to her halftime than other performers? Gaga: 6 million more than the game. Rihanna: 5 million more than the game. Shakira/Jennifer: 3 million more than the game. Katy Perry: 4 million more than the game.

I think that Gaga should do another Super Bowl half time show. She still has the songs and the talent to perform. The songs that she can and should perform in my opinion are: Applause: the biggest hit from ARTPOP (top 6 song) and finally a song from this album getting the spotlight. It looks like another Gaga song is going viral. I checked on Tik Tok and the song is already being used in a lot of videos (specially on celebrity videos).

How? Gaga literary excels at everything except maybe dancing. And even then she is one of the better dancers compared to other pop stars. Plus her theatrics and instrument playing make up for her lack of dancing. Something Beyoncé does not have.
