I've been lurking for a few weeks and I recall several times people came in saying they don't trust polls after 2016 and being met with condescending and snarky replies like "this year is different!!1!" "we've been following these for months we know what we're doing!!1!!" "y'all need to read a FAQ before posting here!!1!" I don't blame anyone for having hope but people had every right not to trust certain polls.
