So, I went on a little break, but I'm back! I'm going to try to post every day from now on until I finish the remaining lists (except for maybe this weekend). So, stay tuned! Hope you guys had a great holiday. I'll start with my favorite music videos. Best Music Videos of 2017 20. Sorry Not Sorry by Demi Lovato A simple house party where Demi has never looked more confident. 19. Dusk Till Dawn (feat. Sia) by ZAYN An action-packed music video that feels like a blockbuster movie where Zayn is the hottest star on the planet. 18. Wild Thoughts (feat. Rihanna & Bryson Tiller) by DJ Khaled Gorgeous sets and a gorgeous looking Rihanna makes this music video feel as large as life itself. 17. He Like That by Fifth Harmony A music video that exemplifies how great Fifth Harmony is; complete with personal shots and group choreography. 16. Chained To The Rhythm (feat. Skip Marley) by Katy Perry This music video is Katy Perry at her finest, except with political messages that you might not catch if you blink. 15. LMK by Kelela Kelela exudes confidence in this music video while she dances in multiple looks and sets - looking like the main pop girl she deserves to be. 14. Praying by Kesha Kesha comes back with an empowering video that shows a side of Kesha that we've never seen, while also showing the side of Kesha we've always loved. 13. Want You Back by HAIM This music video shows the Haim sisters walking down their childhood street, doing simple choreography that gives this song the charm that makes the sisters so likable. 12. Symphony (feat. Zara Larsson) by Clean Bandit Symphony's music video tells a story of a gay couple that makes this one of the saddest and most heartbreaking videos of the year; complete with Zara looking absolutely stunning as always. 11. Love by Lana Del Rey This music video makes you feel "young and in love" with breathtaking visuals that features Lana looking like a classic Hollywood star. This video feels like a dream and showcases what youth today is like in a glamorous setting.

Playa Playa's Best of 2017
These are great recommendations. The only shows out of these I've seen so far are Unbreakable and Broad City, which I loved. Definitely gonna try to look for more the shows on your list, though.

Truly Yes!! The way Master of None uses music in the show is unlike any other, tbh. The Vengabus scene is just so great.

Favorite Music Moments in TV/Movies My favorite show this year had to have been Master of None (Netflix). Everything about season 2 was perfect. Here, I’ve included three of my favorite music moments from the show. I’ve also included my favorite music moments in some of my favorite movies from this year. “Say Hello, Wave Goodbye” by Soft Cell in Master Of None (season 2, episode 5) I’m a huge fan of synth-pop songs. This scene was the first time I had ever heard this song, and it has been a favorite of mine ever since. This is the final scene of the episode, and it feels like the saddest music video you’ve ever watched. “We Like To Party! (The Vengabus)” by Vengaboys in Master of None (season 2, episode 6) This scene is the definition of just pure joy. Seeing two groups of strangers who have almost nothing in common being able to click in the big city of New York is amazing. The way they dance together in a closed burger shop to this song after it became a running joke in this episode made me want to actually add this song to a party playlist. “Un Anno D’amore” by Mina in Master of None (season 2, episode 10) I don’t even know how to explain this scene. It’s Dev dancing with Francesca and Francesca translating it to him in his ear. The lighting, the swaying, the song, Francesca’s voice, etc. This scene is just gorgeously sad. If you have not seen this show yet, I highly recommend it. “Redbone” by Childish Gambino in Get Out “Cry Me A River” by Justin Timberlake in Ladybird “Easy” by Sky Ferreira in Baby Driver “Space Oddity” by David Bowie in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets

10 Best Live Performances 2. One Last Time by Ariana Grande (One Love Manchester) I debated putting this on my list, because of how sensitive the topic is. I understand that this concert was not meant to be acclaimed or anything of that sort, however this list is really just my favorite music moments of the year. This performance made me feel something, which is why I thought I had to put it on my list. It made me cry, seeing Ariana sing this song knowing what it meant to her, the victims, the people at the concert, the city of Manchester, the various artists behind her, and the world. This performance hit me hard, seeing Ariana feel so emotional and seeing the entire crowd sing along with her. It was a gorgeous tribute, and hearing “One Last Time” will never be the same again. A performance that makes you feel this much made me want to put this on my list. 1. Halftime Show Medley by Lady Gaga (Super Bowl) Lady Gaga is one of my favorite artists of all time. She’s been an important part in my life since the 5th grade. Now that I’m 19, I’ve grown to respect her even more. When I anticipated her Super Bowl Halftime Show, I did not know what to expect. I was nervous, and I didn’t know what she was going to bring to the table. What she bought was everything I could’ve asked for. There was unity, a message, and everything I loved about her. The antic of her jumping off the roof after singing “God Bless America”/”This Land Is Your Land” was unexpected and jaw-dropping; making me unsure of where she was going after this. Once she landed on a tower and sang her signature hit “Poker Face”, I was sold. Afterwards, she completed “Born This Way”, singing the message that made me fall in love with her. She blew through hit after hit, making me cry when it wasn’t even emotional for any other person in the room. For me, it reminded me of how much I loved her and how important she was to me as an icon who reminded me that it was okay to be myself. The opening chords of “Just Dance” brought me back, and she pulled it off so well. “Bad Romance” was the perfect closure to the show, complete with a costume change, solid choreography, a diverse cast of familiar backup dancers, and charisma. This performance made me feel every single emotion, and I knew that I would have to put this at the top of my list since the beginning.
