I don't know why they would push radio but not TTH knowing that it would be a controversial single. They even knew they would have to release a behind the scenes clip explaining why the MV actually makes sense. It's basically guaranteeing the song to flop after the first week so why not push her debut with more playlisting and TTH?

I think with the snippets, Katy is choosing what has the most potential as the next single. Well I think anything they choose will be less controversial than Woman's World at least

I think the director should've at least made the first half of the video more obviously satire. Like if they showed that scene as an ad on TV watched by men. As of right now, the video looks a lot worse than it actually is The fact they even prepared that behind the scenes video expecting people to not get it That means the video itself should've made it more clear.

There is some valid criticism about this release but I think it's true that Katy always planned the video like this. This is also why the start of the video promotes a ton of random products and the transition uses random stock images of faux-feminism while Katy is in her coma.
