Not true at all I don't know where you live, but the song was already a hit in a lot of Spanish speaking countries and even some English speaking ones as well, so your point is invalid

Yes, it was #114 on the 2016 Year End Top 200 SoundScan US Album Sales, with 144k copies sold, and it sold 258k in 2015.
