Your reaction when Taylor overtakes Madonna?
Wild to think that Taylor is only slightly older right now than Madonna was when she released Erotica, which is to say I'm excited for Taylor to "do it for the arts, and not the charts" and push boundaries and evolve sonically like Madonna did in the 1990s and like Taylor herself has done before to varying degrees. I think she has it in her to do it again, and I'm excited to see what she comes up with! After Taylor's latest imperial phase she's at a privileged position to really get weird and make whatever art or statements she wants and I personally at this point in her career would love that from her more than chasing some numbers on another album with 35 tracks. We already have Morgan Wallen and Drake in that lane and she's way better than that corny ego stroke maneuver a la TTPD (although with TTPD it was done in a personal and petty way to shove it in Matty's face, which is peak Sag behavior and I do love petty Taylor most of the time.) Anyway, Madonna as a Leo (a fire sign, like Taylor), has always loved her Sag daughters Britney, Christina, Taylor, and Nicki, and has reconciled with her Aries daughter Gaga and her Aries uncle Elton so all is well and these comparisons about "sales" are getting very boring.

Mick Jagger on Harry Styles: Reductive
Did Mick say Harry is being reductive in the article? It's paywalled so I can't read it. That blurb being shared is not Mick saying Harry is reductive so I'm a little confused. He's literally saying, Harry is my friend and I don't know why we are being compared when he doesn't sound like me or dance like me, he just happens to look like me. He's shown Harry love many times, so I don't see it as being shady? Maybe I'm missing something!

Pop girls least cited as influence by new generation of artists?
Pink's M!ssundaztood album/work with Linda Perry helped evolve her image from her first album, and obviously inspired Christina Aguilera to work with Linda on Stripped. Whether Christina would admit it or not, to me that's a clear-cut example of Pink inspiring even one of her contemporaries. And obviously both of those albums inspired younger pop girls as well. But Linda was basically a has-been at that point, Pink really brought her back from the dead and I think M!ssundaztood is influential even if some people think Pink as a performer/pop girl isn't. My overall answer to this question: Adele.

I don't see any way Beyonce's team won't force Billboard to use those fake Tidal numbers to give her another #1. PUHLEASE.

NICE!! Love that he didn't sell out and cater to the tired light EDM/tropical house/generic ripoff Weeknd r&b sound that's dominating pop radio like some people. His career will no doubt be longer.
