It's just so lightweight? Do you know the song Beautiful by Carly Rae Jepsen feat Justin Bieber - obviously it's insane that the Call Me Maybe one hit wonder girl didn't throw out her Justin collab as a single, but the song is so clearly throwaway that it wouldn't work (I say this as someone partial to Beautiful and who thinks Kiss is a great album). Stuck With U is that but also was marketed as a marquee single... it smells off.

Yeah I think it's definitely one of the pyrrhic victories of the 2010s in terms of pop music. Obviously a big hit but Filthy (also not a terrible song... thank God I'm not crazy enough to ge beyond that) clearly suffered from its negative reception.
