I know I'm in the minority here but god this is the happiest day of my life. I've been working so hard contributing to this result and I hope this is a huge referendum on how the media and Hollywood are machines used against President Trump. Onward and upward to a brighter future!!

The prosecutor angle cracks me up because the left typically hates prosecutors and vouches for defendants. I went to law school and took an internship in a prosecutor's office and had classmates literally question me as to why I would accept that role.

Well, I just care for our own national security reasons. I'd like to know the truth about the president since he does have 5 more months left to serve. Everything is done so secretively. I also don't understand how no one cares about Biden repeatedly saying he is staying in the race (literally as recent as Friday) and then suddenly dropping that bomb. Not a single word can truly be trusted from anyone. Also I find it hilarious that NEWSMAX broke the story last week that Biden was stepping down and everyone was quick to dismiss it since they are extremely right wing-y.

Is anyone else troubled by the lack of physical presence of Biden? I cannot believe we had a president step down from his campaign with no video message or personal appearance at all. Something is very off about this.

This is a disgrace. We now will have a candidate not chosen by the will of the people. I don't believe this has ever happened before. Democrats are totally authoritarian and managed to stage their own insurrection with no blood shed.

He didn't lose by major margins per swing state. I think that Biden is way closer to Trump than Trump was to Biden at this time in 2020. The polls aren't great for Biden but they aren't disastrous.

I was sort of trolling haha But I do feel a little bad for him facing all this pressure to resign after he did a lot for 4 years. He should have planned this a year ago. In fact, he ran in 2020 saying he'd be a one term president. People dont let go of power easily but I still feel for the guy right now.

Everyone is welcome to vote in the primary and it obviously has fewer turnout and no one ran against him. It sounds like yall want to overturn an election ;) With fear for our democracy, I dissent.

This is a shame. Trump was down 10 points in 2020 at this time and no one wanted to abandon him. Y'all have to stick by the candidate that you nominated. It's called loyalty. Be mad at the press for not reporting on Biden's state when it was super apparent to everyone with half a brain for the last 4 years.

I do not believe Kamala would do better than Biden in the election. I don't see the USA voting for her for a multitude of reasons. I don't believe any polling that indicates otherwise either, but I could be wrong. I also remember how poorly she performed in the 2020 primaries. Biden should stay and it's obvious that members of his own party are leaking these stories.

The Heritage Foundation is the extreme marker of the party, kind of like the ACLU for the libs. Trump probably agrees with some of Project 2025 but he has never endorsed, went so far as to say he has nothing to do with it. It's a boogie man for the libs to use to scare the voters which I understand. It's a good tactic that they should take advantage of.

It's a new era baby!!! The Republican platform has also officially dropped its support of marriage as solely between a man and a woman.

I know this is not the place to come for an unbiased view, but does anyone think Trump's speech was bad for him? I'm seeing these Democrats bash him on Twitter but I found him to be a bit more subdued than usual, but overall, same old Trump. I don't think the speech had any impact on voters at all, and definitely not a negative one. Twitter sometimes is just not reality.

He's a good pick. Highly educated, pulled himself out of poverty, amazing speaker. I can't wait for him to debate Kamala.
