They just did Alanis. Jagged little pill has 41,484,000 CSPC. Meaning it would be #24 on the list of all time albums. And she is # 53 on the all time artists list with 56,955,000.

Yes, even down to music DVDs. The only info missing is anything that comes after the study date.

She holds a record for declining over 50% with each of her last four eras :jonny:

Do you know what happened ? Why was her next era such an underperformance.

So Jagged Little Pill is eligible for 18x Platinum in the US :clap3:

The last certification was 16x Platinum in 1998  (20 years ago)

He is apparently doing Elvis next :jonny5:

The question is will Elvis place above or below MJ. I doubt he will top the Beatles but it will interesting to see who the biggest solo artists is according to CSPC finally.

WW MJ wins. But their gap in the USA might give Elvis that #2 overall. It's hard to tell because MJ had a huge increase after his death. Before that Elvis was ahead for sure.

The lead was not commercial and the video had her naked. The album’s cover was awful as was the lead single’s (keep in mind this plays a big role with physical sales). Her second single was Europe-only and her third single didn’t get released until months after the album and it lacked a hook and a chorus. And instead of doing TV promo, she just toured.

Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie was NOT a radio-friendly album by any means. But it stays her masterpiece. :jonny:

Fun Fact: It sold 469k in its first week, holding the female opening week record until Oops! I Did It Again in 2000.

JLO and Elvis are coming.

The schedule remains the one communicated earlier. The Titanic album was a side project to complete the Singles EAS ranking before reaching the 100th artist article, while the one about Shakira was a simple update. The article of Jennifer Lopez is in its latest phases while Anthony and Hernan are digging into Elvis’ discography for about 2 weeks already!
