Took a quick trip to New Zealand to listen to the album. Loved it.

It's way "lighter" than what we expect from Boy Harsher, but it works. I think Hard Beat is the hardest song (as the title suggests). A lot of guitar, felt some The Cure influences in a lot of songs. I also thought a little of CHVRCHES with the airy production (when CHVRCHES was good alright). The only songs I didn't care for are Tough Luck and Bleed.

Highlights: Ronny, Hard Beat, Faulty (absolute masterpiece), Break Me, Pray 4 Me (very sexy whew), and Falling ~

Don't know if I'll take another listen today, but my opinions might change after new listens

actually not as disappointing as I was expecting and The Cure influence is very welcome

Jeans easily being the worst on the album though choices..

this is such a watered down version of boy harsher not sure i'm into it

there are some bops but hard beat is the only one that holds a candle to the rest of their discography

it's a great album and very optimistic sounding, it's not that dark wave as the previous one but this album is truly needed to switch things up

Excellent, as always.

i love how cohesive this record sounds, nothing sounds out of place. break me and falling are probably my favourite album tracks at the moment, but hard to choose. kind of gives me the energy of a darker sister album to allie x's girl with no face (minus the theatrics)
