I just went to have a look at the Spotify Global chart and I noticed this song:

Have never heard of it before so I went to have a listen and I thought "oh maybe an older indie band having a viral hit?" but nope. This is the debut single from the band which was released in February of this year and it's so far the only song they have released. It already has 136M streams on Spotify

I googled to know what all of this is about and I found out the song went viral in TikTok and: "Peled, the band vocalist and songwriter, works on the Tel Aviv-Los Angeles commuter line."

I also found some discussions where people seem pretty convinced they're industry plants. That term has been overused in the last couple of years, but this band's debut single suddenly exploding out of nowhere does seem suspicious. What do we think?
