Just a guess but since most kpop sales come from fancy bundles, i guess it's more profitable to release less songs but more frequently 

And if it bombs they can just say it was just a little single album or whatever and move on

yeah her not releasing an album after warning (or even turning warning into a full album with 9 songs) is so strange

Seeing the fall off she's had musically has been so confusing, if this was 2022 or prior I'd have been so perched. WARNING and 1/6 were both great projects and she has released so many great singles but the quality has really deteriorated since STRANGER which was so shockingly awful I thought it was a joke. Mismanagement and a lack of releases has completely killed her momentum too, she was such an it-girl a few years ago too. 

 

Not really sure what the concept was going for the album but a lot of these just sound like b-sides anyone could do, I'm not hearing any cohesion. CYNICAL does the same thing STRANGER does but a little better, but I still don't care for it. Why does the chorus have no proper melody????? Overall I'm disappointed but not surprised, I think she needs to find some new producers to work with who will hopefully bring her some new inspiration. This all just feels so blah  Visuals are on point tho!
