Is the movie Showgirls a classic?

It initially bombed in theaters at first, but it ended up becoming a major cult classic and an undeniable pop-culture phenomenon. Especially with gay audiences and beyond. It's now one of the most recognizable movies, having smashed on home media and now streaming nowadays.

Does this film scream gay rights? Should Taylor have made a Showgirls inspired MV playing Nomi for her lead on her new album? Discuss!

It's definitely a fun movie, albeit movies like that usually not being my thing. Versayce is still the most iconic moment ever.

Its a camp classic that everyone should at least see once in their lifetime. Too bad that it pretty much permanently ended Elizabeth Berkley's chances at having a successful movie career though.
